Lucy’s hands flailed and then sank into his wild pink hair as she moaned wantonly with enjoyment.
Natsu broke the kiss and stared stupefied at Lucy's dreamy expression. "Wait, did you say 'go ahead and kiss me' or 'go ahead, you'll miss me'?!"

Natsu sighed happily, "In that case, compliment me any time."

"Wah-what are you talking about--" he pulled the phone from his ear and checked the time, "--who calls this early on a Saturday and I don't have an ad…" "I'm Lucy Heartfilia, this is Natsu Dragneel, yes?"
"Yeah, oh hey, we're in some of the same college classes, but...what's it an ad for?" Lucy heaved a sigh and began to confide in Natsu, "Normally I wouldn't dream of answering a fake dating ad, but I need to get my dad off my back..."

The wagon rumbled; swaying side-to-side, Natsu losing colour with every shudder and creak of its wheels, forehead sweaty and expression miserable, exclaiming, "Please make it stop!"
Lucy patted his back and told him only five minutes had passed of the two-hour journey.
Natsu pouted and pleaded, "Do something to take my mind off traveling then!"
Lucy moved closer and put her arm around Natsu, asking, "Anything?"
He nodded and Lucy gave him a look that translated to 'well, you asked for it' and kissed him, which did take his mind off traveling.

"Yo, Luce - isn't that already the biggest one?" Natsu stuck his face inside and reached over to rub the swell of Lucy's baby bump.
Lucy sighed, "This is all your fault, but for some reason, I'm attracted to you."

Lucy accepted the small velvet flocked box from a kneeling Natsu. Slowly opening it, she gasped - a giant pink diamond surrounded by fire opals, set on a band of gold. She bit her lip, struggling to keep her tears under control; failing that, Lucy let them flow but gave Natsu a wide smile. "Yes!"
"I know it's a little expensive, but..." Natsu let out a shaky breath and continued, "you're worth it."
