Arrow has came to a beautiful conclusion, can’t wait to see how all the new characters that the finale set in motion play out. Here are 2 variations of the potential final Green Arrow suit exploration I did for costume designer Maya Mani back in the end of season 6. Ultimately I believe they have chosen a more classic look that pays homage the original suit to bookend the series. Initial quick sketches I did to pitch to costume design Maya Mani when we first discussed about a possible final suit for season 7 or 8. I enjoy this stage very much since I can just stay very loose and just let the ideas fly. Sadly we departed after season 7 to move onto @cwbatwoman but it’s always a pleasure to work on the Emerald Archer. It was difficult to leave Arrow early after season 7 and not able to finish the journey with him,but this pretty much is the best goodbye for me. The Green Arrow immortalized in the last suit I worked on together with costume designer Maya Mani as his memorial statue. This sums up the long history I have with this character from season 2 - season 7, 6 years of making suit he looks good while fighting crime, immortal and aliens. ‪2019 was a pretty awesome Bat year for me. I met 4 really important legends from the Batman world. Producer @michaeluslan , had both Bruce Timm and @RealKevinConroy signed my Batman animated figure, then lighter on find out I would be working on the Batman suit for Batwoman and Kingdom Come Bruce Wayne exo-skeleton for Kevin Conroy with costume designer Maya Mani. Then I met @marvwolfman and had his blessing on the CW Deathstroke. A lot of fans are asking ‘where are the yellow boots?!’ We have tried versions of designs that have gold/yellow elements or gold boots. At the end of the day it’s a little bit much.
