after doing a s1 rewatch and from what i can remember from my first watch of GMW when it aired…

I think Maya would end up with Lucas… for like a year and a half or so, realize it didn’t quite work out and that they are better off as friends.

The group all go to prom together!!!! everyone dances with each other and has a blast.

Then like… later in life. say college or something, Maya realizes that she’s definitely in love with Farkle.

and with Farkle… he and Isadora break up amicably when they realize that they’ve been acting more like best friends rather than a couple and agree to not change anything going forward.

When Maya finally admits her feelings for Farkle he just says “I know.” and she lets him finally kiss her.
