this is like… normal weather for Edmonton. Am I missing something?

The power company here is enforcing rolling blackouts because it's operating at capacity, so people are going hours at a time without power, which should never have to happen. Ever.

Also we've been getting record low temperatures and apparently we've never heard of contingency so we were caught with our pants down.

And I'm sick of the bullshit "At least you're only going a few hours without power, it's worse in Toronto!" attitude. Yeah it's worse in Toronto but that doesn't suddenly improve the situation.

ugh I know dude I FUCKING KNOW. I want to make a drama speech piece out of it sooo badly. I just don't know how I'd set it up. It'd have to be 8 minutes and only use the 4 characters. I really want to do it I just need to work on it. Such an amazing movie.
