Real talk, if you haven’t tried out Maycoop’s Raw Sauce you NEED to. I’m sure you’ve heard of it because it has been a cult favorite for a while now, but I just finished my first bottle, and I’m definitely repurchasing and it’s gonna be a staple in my skincare routine.
It’s a hydrating essence and it gives your skin a serious glow. The full size bottle is pretty up there in price for about $43 I think? But you can try the travel size for $14, and it will last you a lot longer than you think!
You can get both the trail size and full size at Sephora, but Amazon actually has the 40mL for only $30 here !

Review of May Coop’s Raw Sheet Mask
May Coop is a unique Korean brand that uses maple tree sap as its main ingredient. They were originally a beauty research and manufacturing company but were inspired by the potency and amazing properties of maple tree sap and its effects on the skin. Their Raw Sheet Mask is designed to intensely hydrate and nourish. It's perfect for tired, sallow skin in need of a boost. Key ingredients include maple tree sap (molecules from this sap absorb very easily, vitamin-rich, mineral-rich, rejuvenating, hydrating, antioxidant, anti-aging), licorice root extract (skin brightening, fades blemishes, soothing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant), ginger root extract (anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, healing, improves elasticity), green tea leaf extract (antioxidant, anti-acne, healing, anti-inflammatory, improves skin elasticity, anti-aging) and bamboo extract (soothing, adds vitality, anti-inflammatory, removes dry skin, antioxidant, healing, hydrating). This product retails for between $6-9 USD, you can get 6 pieces here for $49.99 + free shipping.
Ingredients
Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Sap, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Arginine, Chlorphenesin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Caprylyl Glycol, Carbomer, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Acorus Calamus (Sweetflag) Root Extract, Perilla Ocymoides (Beefsteak Plant) Leaf Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Panthenol, Lepidium Meyenii (Maca) Root Extract, Acacia Concinna Fruit Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Schisandra Chinensis (Five-flavor Berry) Fruit Extract, Coptis Chinensis Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Chamaecyparis Obtusa (Hinoki Cypress) Leaf Extract, Pinus Densiflora (Japanese Red Pine) Leaf Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Extract, Thuja Orientalis (Oriental Arbor-Vitae) Extract, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Paeonia Suffruticosa (Moutan Peony) Root Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance
This product contains 25 grams (0.88 oz) and has a very light natural scent.
The sheet mask is made of unbleached cotton and it's a pretty large mask. The eyes, nose, and mouth holes all fit comfortably and it's pretty soft.
Recommended use is to cleanse and tone the skin. Apply the sheet mask and leave on for 10-20 minutes and then remove and pat in the remaining essence into the skin for full absorption. After using, because I've used their Raw Sauce (review) before I knew this would be quite similar though with some different ingredients. The mask itself is soft and comfortable and natural as it's unbleached and pure cotton so it would be good if you are sensitive to the material. The mask has plenty of essence and it doesn't have a strong scent, it's kind of natural and rather light so I don't believe this would be a problem for sensitive skin. I found it be hydrating, soothing, and nourishing and the effects lasted over 12 hours. The quality of the mask is really good which explains the higher price tag. I would recommend this to people with dry, dull, and/or sensitive skin.
What I like: this mask is very hydrating, soothing, and nourishing with long-lasting effects. There are no strong scents and the material is natural and comfortable. There's lots of essence and the mask is really nice quality. I think this is also a good choice if you have sensitive skin. What I don't like: it's a great mask, the only deterrent might be the price.
Pros:
Hydrating
Soothing
Nourishing
Long-lasting effects
Great ingredients
High quality
Great for sensitive skin
Light natural scent
Nice material
Comfortable
Cons:
Price

Review of May Coop’s Raw Sauce
May Coop is a unique Korean brand that uses maple tree sap as it's main ingredient. They were originally a beauty research and manufacturing company but were inspired by the potency and amazing properties of maple tree sap and its effects on the skin. Their Raw Sauce is a toner, emulsion, and essence all in one and is designed to intensely hydrate and nourish skin. Key ingredients are of course 93% maple tree sap (molecules from this sap absorb very easily, vitamin-rich, mineral-rich, rejuvenating, hydrating, antioxidant, anti-aging), seawater (mineral-rich, anti-acne, anti-inflammatory, zaps excess oil, naturally exfoliates, preps skin for better absorption), black currant fruit extract (soothing, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, hydrating, antioxidant, astringent) and soybean seed extract (moisturizing, revitalizing, anti-aging, vitamin-rich, stimulates collagen production). This product retails for between $14-20 USD (for the small size), you can get it here for $19 + free shipping.
Ingredients
Acer Mono (Painted Maple) Sap (93%), Alcohol, Glycerin, PEG-8, Maris Aqua (Sea Water), Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Water, Betula Alba (Silver Birch) Bark/Leaf Extract, Castanea Sativa (Chestnut) Bark Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract, Pinus Sylvestris (Scots Pine) Bark Extract, Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Vitis-Idaea (Lingonberry) Fruit Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Flour Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Zea Mays (Corn) Germ Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Biosaccharide Gum-1, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Methylparaben, Carbomer, Arginine, Panthenol, Creatine, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Fructan Powder, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate, Orange 4 (CI 15510)
The small size of this essence contains 40 ml (1.35 oz) and has a slight maple scent. It comes in a very sturdy glass bottle.
It has a plastic lid that resembles wood and bottle with a stopper to control how much comes out.
The essence is slightly thick and isn't too runny.
It's very hydrating on the skin and slightly tacky.
After it absorbs, it does leave my skin noticeably hydrated and brighter.
Recommended use is after cleansing and toning, apply to face and neck in upward and outward strokes with your fingertips or a cotton pad. Pat remaining product into skin until fully absorbed. After using, this essence feels soothing immediately and even though there is a slight maple scent, it fades really fast. I found that it sunk into my skin deeply and was very hydrating and it brightened my skin in a very natural way. The ingredients are very nice and I like how unique this product is. I can recommend this to anyone, it's even beneficial for acne-prone skin.
What I like: it's extremely hydrating and soothing and the scent is so faint and fades quickly. The ingredients are excellent and it does brighten skin as well. I like it how it sinks in so deeply and nicely into the skin. What I don't like: this product does contain alcohol very high up in the ingredient list and this product is also expensive. Otherwise, I love it.
Pros:
Hydrating
Soothing
Brightening
Great ingredients
High quality
Nice packaging
Great for all skin types
Sinks in quickly
Faint maple scent
Cons:
Alcohol
Expensive
Would I buy again?

First item to review is Maycoop Rawsauce. If you love Korean Beauty then you will love this. This is an essence that actually acts as a 3-in-1 formula and performs the functions of toner, emulsion and essence all in one. Essence is a very important step in my skincare routine as well as one that isn’t to be missed in the Korean 10 step routine.
Raw Sauce is a clear slightly thick liquid which can be applied using your fingers and hands. The bottle suggest a cotton pad but anyone that has used essence knows this is not a great way to apply the product. You want to apply a good amount into the palms of your hands and gently press it into your face. As you press it’ll absorb and you can later follow up by gently rolling your fingers across your face for full absorption. I also do a small amount around eyes and “piano” tap to absorb.
The Rawsauce comes in two sizes and is now available at Sephora. If you are ready to dip your feet into Korean skin care, this is a great start. I use this product twice a day and I love it. I would highly recommend.
