A LIST OF MY TOP 15 SONGS FROM LATIN AMERICAN ARTISTS... AND ME

Some time ago i made a list of my top 15 songs of Mexican artist, and I decided to do a top 15 of my fave songs in english (divided by North America and then Europe countries that speak English, and Australia), French, Japanese, etc. but first… latin America (without counting Mexico of course) and my top 15 Spanish song from Spain of course.

It was kinda hard mostly because of nostalgia and because latin America is huge and have great musicians in it and i believe there are a lot of great artist that are not featured in my list that i do adore or that had contributed a lot in the music sphere, also there is no reggaeton even tho i do like it.

I will divided the list into 4 (2 for latin America, and 2 for Spain) because of the links

15. Última vez by Tim Bernardes - It is the only Brazilian artist of the list, i do like a lot of Brazilian songs, yet this one has something init that i just find it so relaxing and so sad and nostalgic, it is a long soft ballad that melts in your ears, is grand it continues building as it keeps going.

15.Polos Opuestos by PJ Sin Suela Ana Tijoux - There are songs that are vibes, this is one of those, it just makes you feel good, and in love with life, is what I would describe as a simple roadtrip song, just good

14. Ay Ay Ay by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso - I know this song is controversial but it is so much fun to hear it, I do like them a lot, I enjoy their experimental sound and expression. It is really refreshing, and this song is just them, ironic, funny, big

13. Deseo Carne y Libertad by Candelabro - This was such a surprise when i first hear it, is quite a short song more like an interlude, that works great in and out the album, is spacious as if you were walking through a tunnel and in the other side is a love you haven't yet found.

12. Volverte a ver by Juanes - young me had such a huge crush on Juanes, i was in love with him, still love him, i would say he is still an icon,in the latin america music scene, also this was my favourite video of him, the song super sweet and longing, and i was such a drama queen that i used to sing and cry to it.

11. Funeral by Mon Laferte - I am huge Mon fan, i think she has an amazing voice, and creative vision, this son tho, is one of those that makes me cry, there is such a tenderness in the guitar, her voice and the bolero flare of it.

10. Maldita Mirada, by Alex Ferreira - Someone dedicated this song to me a few years ago, and I remember feeling so baffled about it, I think is a great, i adore it, is calm but it has some annoyance in it, as he is actually tired and angry about her cursed stare.

9. Tu by Maye - I don't know how to explain it but this is a beach song, not a song to listen at the beach, but a song that emulates the beach, it is romantic, sweet, danceable, flavourful, colourful, it is happiness in a song.
