What do you think the TMR boys/girlies DnD classes are?
imma be way off bc most of my dnd knowledge is through observation rather than playing (i haven't played) but i'll try o7

Oathbreaker Paladin
his oath was to WCKD and his oathbreaker status made his suspicious to Gally, but because of his amnesia, Thomas isn't able to defend his past self well for why that version of himself broke such an oath
paladin because Thomas just has a very strong moral core imo
he wants to so what he believes is Right and that means helping his friends, keeping people safe, killing himself sacrificing himself for the cause so that others can live and be protected
he's a protector, the sword and shield for his group
Teresa
Cleric (idk what subclass tho. actually, i only know Thomas's subclass and that's IT)
her faith is in WCKD and it's cause(i'm treating WCKD like some god in this concept but....listen, it makes sense to me for WCKD to be in this "godly" role since they're playing god already with influencing the population and evolution. there's been cleric of false gods right? that's definitely a thing)
Teresa cannot divorce herself like Thomas can with her ideals and WCKD's because WCKD gave her her purpose. Teresa's life was one that led to so much death and misfortune and now she can right it. now, she can make her life have meaning that is Good and Just and will bring a better future than how she entered it

maybe he was an Archer or a Bard, but because of....reasons, Newt got an injury and found a better way to adapt via Rogue???? (it makes more sense in my head)
Newt with slight of hand and having lockpicking skills (that he teaches Thomas ofc and who wouldn't be smug about teaching a paladin how to break into things)

i like the idea of him going into a rage, what can i say?
vain and strong and he knows it. tank of the team and gloats about it
one of the main reasons he's a Runner is not only because of his track star abilities and stamina, but because he can take on a Griever if needs must (not for a long time tho)

originally classed him as Rogue but then i was doing Rachel's class and was like.....actually, it would be cool if every Elite 4 had a natural affinity for magic but her. Aris's magic being a little similar to Rachel's since his isn't a divine gift but he's just born with it
Aris helping Rachel with spells she's struggling to cast (which become Aris struggling to put into words HOW he casts spells since it comes so naturally to him)

it was either that or Druid, but i like the idea of Rachel being taught magic rather than having an innate talent for it
because she has to study the magic/science/idk what kind of dnd/ttrpg world tmr would fit, Rachel gets more of an inside scoop into the mechanisms of how the world's magic/science ticks that her friends don't (Teresa's and Thomas's magic from their class being a gift from the divine iirc)
Thomas, ever inquisitive, asking Rachel about her studies and Rachel sugar coating nothing. Thomas finding Rachel privately to discuss how he was taught to perceive his divine abilities versus the books Rachel needs to read and understand in order to cast her spells

a Brenda who can wild-shape is a terrifying Brenda (to her enemies)
also imagine the Gladers meeting her while she's speaking to some animals and one of them (Minho) tries to tease her, to which she sets him straight while also informing him of any secrets the animals decided to tell her about him because they thought it would be funny
