Hi!, so Ive admittedly been seeing all your takes of the Darkling and Grishaverse, love it btw.

Genuine question what do you think the Darkling should've done in order to get more people on his side?

(Adding a personal opinion): I think he should've payed more attention to the Politics, and made himself to be trustworthy to the previous Monarchs, once he got that the Nobels probably would've tried to butter up to him (Regardless if they were distrustful or not). A good villain that did that type of thing could be Palpatine- that guy essentially did win in the Star Wars Franchise

yessssss I 100% agree with you! I think I've talked about this a bit before (a while ago) but yeah, if he were more clearly aligned with the monarchy it probably would've been so much easier, not only to get the nobility on his side, but to sway the monarchy over to his point of view!!
