Miss Swan! Are You Trying To Seduce A Bear Claw?!
Emma finally sat down on the chair by her desk. She felt victorious after her little run-in with Leroy at Granny's, fighting like the Savior Henry claims she is, over the last Bear Claw that was served at the busy diner.
Without wasting more time than she already had by insisting to eat the baked good in the quiet station rather than on her way there.
In Emma's mind, the Bear Claw was in an entirely different league than any other pastry she had ever eat. It had to be treated accordingly. Not taken in a quick, hurried, mindless chews inside her bug, but long appreciating, careful bites. Keep all of her focus on the treat and forget anything else.
She carefully took the Bear Claw out of the paper bag and brought it close to her face so it matches her eye level.
"Oh, I have been waiting to get a taste of you for a long time." Emma felt entranced by the pastry's delicious smell. "You look so good. You must be the only pastry served in heaven? Aren't you? I can't wait to have you in my mouth."
Being so caught up with the dazzling smell and look of the pastry, Emma Swan did NOT hear the sound of heels clicking on the floor, announcing the Mayor's upcoming presence.
Emma snapped out of her trance. The sweet bubble she was inside of suddenly burst at the sound of Regina Mills' voice.
"Are you trying to seduce a Bear Claw?!"
Emma was speechless, her cheeks burned red with embarrassment being caught, by Regina fucking Mills nonetheless, talking to a pastry.
"Uh, no. Of course not... I was just... Uhh... Roleplaying..." The lame explanation she tried to use as an excuse only made her look more like the deer caught in the light that she was at the moment. Well, in most of the moments that included the Mayor.
"Roleplaying? With a baked good?" Regina began to walk closer towards Emma's desk. Emma couldn't help but gulp at the sight of the Mayor's choice of clothing.
Damn Emma though. Ruby was right, Regina did not start to leave those buttons on her shirt unbuttoned until she got in town. There is no way Regina would deem it as decent, let alone appropriate, near Henry.
"So, the thing is..." Emma's words trailed off as Regina came close enough and started to circle her desk.
"Mary Margret thought I should get on a diet and eat healthier. It's been a week since I ate a Bear Claw." Regina has stopped surrounding her and stood right in front of Emma, across her desk. "I couldn't resist it anymore."
Emma gave her a weak smile, Regina intensively looked at the Sherrif. Emma didn't know what to do or say. Without dropping her gaze from the blonde, Regina took from her bag the paperwork she wanted Emma to get done with. She slowly took it out, put it on the desk, and closed her bag.
"Well Sheriff, I'll let you know I possess a much more delicious forbidden fruit. If you ever feel like you cannot resist anymore..." Regina let her words trail off. She wanted to increase their impact on the blonde who was miserably failing to hide her impatience. The Mayor started to walk towards the room's exit. Once she reached it she stopped and turned to face Emma one last time.
"You'll know where to find me." She smirked and walked away, leaving a flustered Emma to her baked good. Emma looked at the pastry, suddenly worried.
"I don't mean to scare you, but it looks like you got some serious competition"
