ariette has times where she mostly nonverbal — usually in the late evening, after her social energy is spent for the day. growing up, she could barely speak without harsh words and punishment being met in return. she became a silent soul — only being interpreted by the girl who grew into her first love.
mae never forces her to speak or push her social limit. in return, ariette feels comfortable in their silence. to this day, mae is the only person she lets near her while she’s recovering. now, it’s simply routine 🌓…
