RIP haloren1st

This morning I saw the terrible news that popular Reylo fan artist @haloren1st​ has passed away.

I did not communicate with her much and all I really knew about her was that she was from Thailand.  But if you’re in Reylo World on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. chances are you’ve seen her spectacular work.  She was immensely talented and I bought several prints from her, as well as her art book.  She did a number of commissions and contributed to various anthologies.  Her work had a dream-like quality to them and they were always about capturing the beauty of Reylo, both the physical beauty of the characters and their story.

I really just have to say it.. @haloren1st i will miss you. I really love you. You have been an inspiration by many artists because of your beautiful works. Reylos are very blessed to meet you, to know you, to take commissions from you, to be introduced by your beautiful Reylo Manips, for your Beauty and the Beast Reylo AU, your Hades and Persephone AU, those Modern AUs you drawn, SW Canon Reylo, those wonderful, beautiful, unique see through Arts that when you face it on the clouds, the trees, everywhere, it just look magnificent and out of the world.. i know you dont know me but you are one of my inspirations, and im just so heartbroken to hear you are gone. RIP @haloren1st you will never be forgotten.

My heart exposed

Neither are you

Our feelings disclosed

I reach out through empty space

Our hands touch in soft embrace

This feeling coursing through my chest

What emotion is this?

Is this love?

I’ve never felt such bliss.

You leave the temple to find me

And to give me a desperate plea

My brave scavenger

My light of hope

Tears stream down your weary face

Maybe I should’ve slowed down the pace
