this has to be a joke you can't keep doing this to me

I'm rising from the grave temporarily to share something that just occurred to me about Mayview. Remember how the running joke at the last pnat jackbox night was that Mayview has no ambulances? Well that got me thinking and remember how in chapter 1 Max broke Johnny's face with his scooter and he just got up like it was nothing? Because a doctopus landed on him? He wasn't a spectral at that point. That means doctopi work on anyone. So this town is covered in creatures that kill pain but don't heal anything and most people can't see them.

I'm saying that the hospital in mayview probably gets a lot of people with ribs healed crooked and burst appendixes and tons of dangerous nonsense because people in this town sometimes just don't feel pain. I bet the ambulances in Mayview don't actually see a lot of action because half the time when someone falls off somthing high they just get up and feel fine and then they have an untreated concussion for the next three years and the more I write this out the more it explains a lot.

Mayor Jade’s house! I’ve got her main room and her back room, followed by the left and right rooms, and then the attic and her basement! Her house is almost done, I just need a 1 lamp to put into her office, by the 8 lamp.

maybe mayview itself is the wight. just like the whole thing. a town thats possessed by a spirit who is so needy for love and has no sense of its own identity so it changes itself to fit into whatever it thinks ppl would love it as
