Mazer: This is a battleground.
Mazer seeing Bing: Could be a nursery.

Ender’s Game (2013)
"'Have you ever had a buffalo burger?'
'I've had buffalo wings,' said Mazer. 'But those aren't the same thing.'
'Buffalos don't have wings,' said Bingwen.
'It's what they call tiny, spicy chicken wings.'
'Then why don't you call them chicken wings?'
'Don't let logic spoil all the fun in life,' said Mazer," (Card & Johnston, Earth Awakens, 306).
So I've been reading The Second Formic War books, I just finished The Swarm a few days ago, and I have a theory. WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE SWARM AHEAD While I was reading it there was some vague set up for the Battle School. Li talking to Bingwen about GravCamp, the training school in space to help soldiers practice fighting in space. Li told Bingwen he was going there but it was a secret because it wouldn't be good press if people found out a 12 year old boy was being trained for war. And I started thinking, oh my god. What if it wasn't Mazer that came up with the plan to defeat the Formics in the Second Formic War at all. What if it was Bingwen but because no one could know he was involved they had to give the credit to someone else. I continued reading and discovered that they are training a group of children who Bingwen is the leader of. Now I am convinced that it was this cohort of children that really discovered the way to defeat the Formics. That's why the IF had so much faith in the Battle School for the Third Formic War. Now I feel like the whole foundation of Ender was a lie because if it was, if Mazer was given the credit to hide the involvement of children in the Second Formic War, then it is.
