“You look really nice. Are you having a good time?”
“I need a drink and then some dancing, you coming or not?”
"Is this TOO over the top, or just the right amount of Christmas in July?”
“Welcome to Christmas in July. Relax, party and save me a dance.”
“I’m not really a Christmas in July kind of girl. Maybe Halloween in July, but not Christmas. But I have to admit this is pretty cool.”
JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE ALL THE WAY
TO THE MISTY BAYS GALA
Every July in honor of the founding of the town, the mayor throws a unity event. This year, the mayor has decided to throw a gala at the mayor’s mansion. Coming up with a theme was an easy choice. Afterall it is July, which means a Christmas in July themed party.
Of course, the mayor had no time to plan this gala and instead offered it up for each species to elect one representative to help with the party planning and decorations. After all, in order for everyone to feel united, ideas from all species had to be taken into account.
With all the planning done and decorations put up, the mayor will be accepting guests on July 22nd for a night of Christmas magic. Dress up, find a date and be there for a night like no other.
“Can you, for the love of God, explain to me why on earth you would come here with Reid of all people?” he asked, when he saw his sister. “You are looking lovely by the way.” he added with a small smile.

The gala was beautiful, there was no denying that. The amount of detail that had been put to make it all believable was incredible, but the more Lily spent her time amongst so many supernaturals the more the enchanted pendant around her neck drained grew heavy. She felt its power grow stronger at their presence and although she had at one point thought she could handle it, it was now becoming too much. Finishing up her drink, she put empty glass on an empty table and rushed outside. She was opening up the doors to the garden when she walked right into someone that was coming in. “I’m so sorry.” Lily apologized. “I just- It’s just really hot there.” She said, catching her breath.
