Hello! I was wondering if you could write a Benny Wier imagine? Where the reader is transgender (ftm) and he's struggling with body dysmorphia and benny reassures him that he's perfect and its very fluffy!
Sorry it probs not as fluffy as u wanted but I really liked writing this one for you :))
(Y/N) hated the way that he looked or more accurately, the way he thought that he looked. Waking up every morning and looking into the mirror to see the same face and body. The round, feminine face and curves that he couldn't get rid of no matter how hard he tried. This wasn't HIS body, It was all wrong.
Tearing his eyes from the face in the mirror, (Y/N) leaves the bathroom of his boyfriend's house and walks back to the bedroom. His boyfriend, one Benny Weir, was sitting on the edge of the bed playing a game. Silently he sits himself behind Benny, resting his chin on the others shoulder.
“Hey, what took you so long?” Benny questions him as he glances toward him, still distracted by the game.
“Its nothing.” He replies, the sadness evident in his voice.
Pausing the game, Benny shifts his body to look at (Y/N). Seeing the pain through his
soft smile, a now worried Benny asks,
“Are you sure it's nothing?”
“No, Its just…” (Y/N) pauses for a moment, thinking of what he wants to say, “I’m not ok.
I look at myself in the mirror everyday and I.. I don't see myself. All I see is some girl who isn't me staring back.”
He pauses again, sighing, his hands and breath shaking. Benny moves to grab his
hands, steading them as he moves to look (Y/N) in the eyes.
“(Y/N) maybe right now, you don't feel like you see yourself in the mirror. Maybe you hate your curves or your voice but…” He stops for a second to bring his hand up to (Y/N)’s face, “you are still always going to be the most amazing boy I have ever met..”
Looking up to meet Benny’s eyes (Y/N) smiles softly. A few tears slip down his face as he pulls the other boy close, hugging him tight.
"Even if you are kinda annoying sometimes." Benny says with a smile.

- Your relationship probably starts out like any other stereotypical Hufflepuff and Slytherin relationship.
- You two absolutely couldn't stand each other.
- Loud fights in not only class but literally anywhere around Hogwarts.
- Benny was very much aboard the 'Hufflepuffs are weak, soft-hearted, and not as intelligent' train.
- Considering he got better grades than you in most of your classes, you couldn't prove he was wrong.
- However, you stopped hating Benny on a particularly chilly night.
- You found him asleep in the library. You had been looking for Ethan and you figured if he wasn't in there, he was in the Ravenclaw common room.
- When you instead found a shivering Slytherin you were surprised to find your heart not freezing out. He looked almost peaceful just lying there, not talking for once in his life.
- Without any further thinking you quickly stole the scarf you wore around your own neck and carefully wrapped it around him in a way that would at least help.
- Yet, Benny stopped hating you when he went to return the scarf.
- "I don't need your charity."
- "Would you rather I had let you freeze to death?"
- "Don't be so overdramatic, I was fine!"
- "Whatever! Just give me my scarf and leave then!"
- As you got closer to him in a defensive state, he was finally able to fully see all of your features for the first time, and surprisingly, he wasn't repulsed. You were actually quite attractive.
- He smugly wrapped a scarf around your neck, but the colors didn't match that of your own. Your hands pulled at the fabric. The green and gray fabric.
- "What is thi-"
- "We're trading. See ya' later."
- After that, you two gradually stopped constantly being at each other's throats.
- Rory was the first to notice it since he was in the same house as you. When Benny came to join you two at the great hall and you didn't almost bite his head off, he knew something was off.
- Ethan noticed not long after that. When you were told you would be having Potions with Slytherins you didn't make any jokes about Benny.
- He still kind of hung onto that idea that Hufflepuffs were inferior though.
- It led to you giving him a piece of your mind.
- "Being a Hufflepuff has absolutely nothing to do with me being less brave than Gryffindors, not as intelligent as Ravenclaws, or not as determined as Slytherins. It has everything to do with the fact that none of that is what's truly meaningful to me. What matters most to me is that everyone at Hogwarts has a fair chance and that my friends are able to look me in the eye and know that no matter what I'll always be there for them. Have you ever noticed that I've never once negatively stereotyped you because you're a Slytherin? Get out of my face, Weird."
- You two don't talk again for a while.
- Your fight had spread around Hogwarts as well. Other people who weren't even in your friend group knew about it.
- Most of the Slytherins told Benny that he was better off whilst a small percentage said you'd come around.
- Most Hufflepuffs told you that he would come around whilst a small percentage said you're better off.
- Neither of you were very happy.
- Rory tried to talk you into talking to Benny, but when you told him the reason you two fought, Rory reminded you that as a Hufflepuff, he's loyal to him, even if he was a pretty big jerk sometimes.
- He had a point.
- Meanwhile, in the library, Ethan was giving a similar talk to Benny. He kept reminding him that Slytherins have some pretty harmful stereotypes attached to them, but that you had never cared.
- It didn't take long for you two to run into each other considering you had a class together.
- He hesitantly took a seat beside you, watching as your face contorted in an upset way but then went back to normal.
- "Look, I'm so-"
- "Sorry? What else would you be?"
- "You know, I'm trying to apologize."
- "For what? For being a dick to me all year, for pulling pranks on me, for believing my house is inferior to yours, or for taking my scarf?"
- "I gave you mine to replace it!"
- "Well, what can I say? I despise the color green."
- He was pretty surprised by the hatred in your tone as you blindly spat out your insult.
- The two of you sat in silence for the rest of class, which is probably for the best since Snape wouldn't hesitate to give you detention, or Benny for that matter.
- He didn't hesitate to follow you back towards the Hufflepuff common room though.
- "Can you please just listen to what I have to say?"
- "That you're sorry and that you were wrong? What's the point of hearing it if I already know what you're gonna say?"
- "Are all Hufflepuffs like this?"
- That definitely got you to stop dead in your tracks. You spun towards him, getting up in his face again as you had during the scarf argument.
- "And what is that supposed to mean?"
- "Are all Hufflepuffs so lovably petty?"
- Your face flushed at his words. You scoffed, averting your eyes from him, only now realizing the couple of inches of height he had on you.
- "Do you really despise green?"
- "No.. I don't. Green is a wonderful color."
- Something told you that you weren't talking about colors anymore.
- It wasn't long before you two were back to casually talking, and this time it wasn't as subtle that maybe, behind the walls you two had built, that there was possibly something more.
- Everyone got pretty used to you wearing your rich green scarf and Benny wearing his bright yellow one.
- "You know, Weir, it's pretty unfortunate you're not a Hufflepuff. Yellow suits you."
- "Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you and the color green."
- You two got so close that people actually fully expected him to invite you to the Yule ball.
- So, when he didn't, it kind of stung. The feeling you felt while you watched him talk with Ethan and Rory was sort of unforgettable, and not in a good way.
- You looked away for a split second and it was as if he teleported to you.
- "And why aren't you dancing with your date?"
- "He sorta ditched me a couple of minutes ago. That's what I get for coming with a random Ravenclaw instead of the guy I actually wanted to come with. He never asked me, though."
- "Who said you couldn't ask him?"
- "Well, I-" he had a point.
- You stood up from the table, staring Benny Weir straight in the eye.
- "So, dance with me?"
- The sound of Benny's laugh was also unforgettable, in a good way.
- "Well, that was unusually cunning."
- "What can I say? Hanging out with a Slytherin has its perks."
- You two danced the rest of the night away. Although, Benny wasn't particularly good at it.
- He didn't get around to asking you out until one day in Potions.
- You were having a bit of trouble. The potion you were supposed to be brewing was bright yellow, but instead, you had a black sludge looking liquid sat in front of you.
- "Need some help?"
- When you gave him a nod, he didn't waste time in coming behind you and wrapping his arms around you in a way that he could guide your hands.
- You two worked together until the black yucky potion was a beautiful, brilliant, yellow color.
- "Wow, that color is so beautiful."
- "Yeah, most yellow things are."
- His quip went right over your head. You pulled him into a quick hug, making sure Snape didn't see. He wishes he could've gotten a recording of the small "thanks B" you muttered.
- He meant to turn around and go back to his own work, he really did, but he couldn't take it anymore.
- "You"
- That definitely caught your attention.
- "I want you to be my Hufflepuff, can we make that happen?"
- "Y-Your Hufflepuff?"
- "I've sorta come to the conclusion that every Slytherin should have one and I'm picking you."
- "And what if I say no?"
- "Well then you miss out on an awesome Slytherin- also, I'd be sad."
- A smile crept onto your face and you gave a quick but solid nod. He was ecstatic. Without warning, he pressed a soft but loving kiss to your cheek.
- It was basically history after that. You two were inseparable. You were known as THAT couple, the one who always had to do everything together because being together made everything better.
- Benny defending Hufflepuffs to the Slytherins.
- You defending Slytherins to the Hufflepuffs.
- Smelling him n your Amortentia.
- He gets very cocky about it, which leads to you threatening to give him a good jinx.
- "Would we be even if I told you that I had smelt you too?"
- Benny asking you to spend the holidays in Whitechapel with him, his grandma, and his dad.
- Him being more than surprised when you say yes.
- When you find out that his grandma was a Ravenclaw, you nearly die laughing. You fully expected Benny to be from a long line of Slytherins like Draco.
- "What's so funny, dork?"
- "Nothing. It's just you always had such rude things to say about Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. I had always wondered why you didn’t say anything about Ravenclaw, but I suppose this has answered my question.
- That got Benjamin spanked by lightning.
- Even though you got him into trouble quite a few times, he didn't care. It was more than worth it to be able to hold you over the holidays.
- Being surprised when you find out Benny's dad is a muggle, and that his mom was too, which means he's muggle-born.
- "So, your father is a Squib then?"
- "Technically, yes, but we prefer to not call him that."
- "O-Oh, I'm sorry!"
- "It's okay, it's just that most people who use it don't mean it in the kindest way."
- His father and grandmother liked you very much.
- When it came time to return to Hogwarts, you were both pretty excited.
- He did everything you did at Hogwarts. Every class you took that he could take too, he was there.
- The two of you would join Dumbledore's Army together (if they let Slytherins in because lord knows they probably wouldn't smh.)
- Fighting alongside him during the battle of Hogwarts.
- Benny comforting you upon the death of anyone who you really liked.
