Hello and thanks for your answer. I am the person https://funkymbtifiction.tumblr.com/post/675903435862900736/sorry-in-advance-for-i-dont-know-if-this-is-a and I was wondering about what you say and again I have two questions (sorry, really).
If I happen to be an ISFP, how is possible for me to continually be unaware of my surroundings? I'll be walking through the city and completely out-of-touch with everything happening around me because I am ultra-focus on my own thoughts. My partner is teasing me with those didn't you notice this MASSIVE THING that just happened right next to us? How? Maybe I am misunderstanding the function (Se).
And about the tert-Si of the INFP. I am rather minimalist, could it be oriented towards experiences? Such as... did you remember the first time we went to that restaurant and the conversation we maintain over (this, this and this)?
I am not trying to be a type over the other, just trying to make sense of it.
No problem. :) I'm not here to shoehorn anyone into a type that doesn't feel natural to them.
Why don't you try being an ISFP for a week and see whether it feels natural (pay attention to your environment, look for opportunities to act, expand your tastes) and then do the same with INFP (read perspectives that differ from yours, read something heavily abstract, or have a long theoretical discussion with someone if possible)? I also recommend keeping a journal for a week -- write down what you did at the end of each day, or what thoughts are on your mind; I usually find that sensors talk about what they did, and intuitives naturally gravitate to whatever ideas are being mulled over in their head (eg: we went here and did this and it was amazing, vs: "I've been thinking about the human soul, and what it might be," or "it bothers me a lot that I am so flawed compared to my idealistic idea of what I should be" Fi + Ne ruminating).
