Such a tropical-sounding song.
Known primarily for his controversial lyrics that speak out against social injustice and hypocritical society, rapper Mc스나이퍼 MC Sniper shared his latest song, "Penguin," on July 21st.
In between beach sounds reminiscent of the early '00s, MC Sniper raps a story about a disappointed penguin who wants to fly in the sea as if it were the sky. Penguins, despite being birds, cannot fly, right? I mean, they don't even have feathers.
All this little penguin wants to do is to feel free and not think about bad haps from the past.
The music video for the single was released on the 23rd, two days after the song's release, and it is as tropical as the song itself. MC Sniper, born Kim JungYoo, is seen riding his bicycle and playing the guitar through most of the video, all in all having a good time drinking and singing alone and with his friend.
Such a feel-good song! I wonder if there is a hidden meaning behind the lyrics, though. 🐧
