LISTEN maybe it’s a stupid pet peeve but i hate those posts that are like “mc speedrunners b like:” and then it’s some slow, outdated technique. it’s so painfully obvious that it was specifically made to shit on dream.

like dude. cmon. why are you investing so much energy into making a horrible animation to make fun of a guy that’s never gonna see it.

i just dont understand?? if it was making fun of the mc speedrunning community as a whole (ie: more accurate) it’s like. ok. cool. still hate it but it’s marginally more funny. but the way it is now?? just put “dream speedrunning be like:” and be done with it. you’ll probably get more views anyways.

There is something that fascinates me with minecraft speedrunning. Everything is random. The filtered seeds in fsg are amazing, they have everything you need to finish the run in ~5min. But they are actual seeds, they aren't modified. So theoretically, fsg seeds could appear in regular rsg runs. It is incredibly unlikely, but possible. So there is a theoretical possibility of a 6-7min rsg time.

Illumina and fruitberries did a few co-op speedruns in 1.14 last year, and the first one they submitted makes me laugh.

At the time, Illumina had gotten the world record for the category, with a 26:03 time. During the run with fruitberries, Ilumina says “I just wanna get sub 26:03, that’s all I want. I don’t care about 23, I don’t care about 24. Sub 26:03. (...) 26:02, I’ll be happy with a 26:02.”

Guess what time they got.
