Dream x Geosquare . THIS IS A JOKE BTW.

If Geosquare knew the controversy that would arise from the video, he might not have posted it. The video caused quite a lot of problems, not only for the reserver, Dream, but also for the creator. Geosquare and Dream were both speedrunners, and they actually were good friends. Geosquare being a Minecraft speedrun modirater would sometimes look to Dream on something that looked off or fishy, so when Dream got insanely lucky on his drops in his speedrun Geosquare was the one who had to make the said video. This video spawned a new inside joke in the fandom “ 1 in 7.5 Trillion Chance,” which is the reference on the peal trades and the blaze rod drops.
When posting the video he felt… off, he didn’t want to do this to Dream, seeing him as a friend and all, but he needed it as a part of his task as a moderator. The video dropped and it was right then when Geosquare could feel his relationship with Dream weaken, and this hurt him deep down inside. He knew that even if he apologized on his hands and knees there friendship would never be like it was before. Dream’s reaction to the video was rightful anger.
Dream took, what seemed to him, an outrageous claim to heart and posted a series of angry tweets. He let his emotions get to his head, clouding any rational thought, only to realize how much of a horrible idea it was. Dream did send out an apology saying how the anger and hurt got the better of him, but it was already too late. There were some Dream fans who took to the comments of the video and started leaving hate. This also caused their relationship to fracture even more.
Dream was laying on his bed lazily as he was strolling through twitter looking for something to cure his boredom. He was just about to exit out of the app until he saw the familiar name and profile picture of one of the people that hurt his reputation, Geosquare. The name itself brought back bad memories and Dream wondered to himself why he was still even following him. Dream, noticing he was spacing out, shaked his head as he decided to read the tweet.
’ i cant believe i solved my anxiety,’ weird he thought as he clicked the video that was posted along with it. This video played a intensly loud song as it showed some of his tweet’s about the drama without any context. Dream really didn’t care about the rest as he went straight to the replays. This time, he took a deep breath to calm the anger and tried to respond in a cool manner. He worded the reply as more of a disclaimer than an actual rebuttal, hoping that his fans wouldn’t attack Geosquare. The thought of him being hated on by his own fans made his heart tug slightly. ’ Weird ’ Dream thought as he pressed Geosquare’s profile.
He was hovering over the unfollow button contemplating whether or not he should just unfollow, I mean there wouldn’t be any harm to it… would there? The best case scenario nobody would notice and it would just be sweeped under the rug. The worst case however it would cause a whole new drama, something he was done with and he assumed Geosquare was with as well. Dream let out a sigh as he rolled over on his bed, facing his bare ceiling. He was spacing off a lot more nowadays, with thoughts of Geosquare and the video. His heart hurt any time he thought of it, I mean anyone would being betrayed by a friend.
’ Was it even a betrayal though?’ Dream thought, ’ I mean he was just doing his job, he had to do it,’ Dream rolled over to his side, slowly getting lost in thought. Has he ever posted a full length video on the other people he suspected of cheating? He thought of drifting off into space. No, but you are a big public figure he had too. Dream let out a frustrated huff as he rolled over sat up. Why was he coming up with excuses to defend Geo? If anything he should be coming up with thoughts of how this was a direct attack only to make a quick buck, but even he knew this wasn’t true. Yeah he might have said ,but that doesn’t mean he believes it.
Deciding not to question his own thoughts, he got up and decided to make himself some food, maybe that will help keep his mind off things.
Geosquare was messing around on his phone when he got a notification from Twitter saying that Dream responded to one of his tweets. The name itself made Geosquare’s heart jump and he straightened up from his slouching position. Why though? He assumed it was nervousness, I mean he is in a drama with him at the moment, of course he would be nervous.
When he found out the tweet that Dream replied on he couldn’t help but feel a small ting of guilt. He thought it was a funny joke, to lighten the mood of the whole thing, but Dream on the other hand took is seriously. Geo could understand why he did though, he knew his fans were younger and they might not have been able to tell it was a joke. Dream was just being safe.
Dream’s comment must have brought the post more recognition as he was getting a bombardment of hate, almost every new notification he got was just hate, mixed in with the occasional jokey comments on how Dream and him should just kiss.
Geosquare didn’t know why, but the comments about him and Dream kissing made him feel giddy, and made his stomach feel full of butterflies. He just tossed it up on being a funny joke, but deep down he knew it was for a different reason, but just like a scared puppy he didn’t want to dig and find out.
He hoped he could somehow make it up to Dream’s fans, but more importantly Dream himself. He decided to tweet something else out, this time it was a compliment for Dream, and boy did he hope Dream would except it.
