Endermen created the End Portal

I've had this topic covered in a video, but of course I cannot just stop talking about things I've already talked about because this is just so interesting to me and I need more people to know! Many have wondered where the End portal came from. These magical blocks which are required to power to reach the End dimension as well as the end of the game have become so integral to progression yet remain mysterious. Most just chalk it up to humans or something randomly finding their way into the End for whatever reason. Maybe even becoming endermen in the process. This does not make sense, though. Looking at the End portal texture, we can see that it is made of end stone. A material from the End and only found in the End.

Not only that, but that teal/cyan framing that covers the end stone of the end portal frame is also a material from the End! It's found imbedded into the end stone itself in the Minecraft Dungeons files. Here's a look at some examples of this material found throughout the Dungeons' End:

Essentially, the materials that the End portal is made of consist entirely of End materials. There's no way that anyone from the Overworld could've made these frames because it is simply impossible to created a portal to another dimension if that same portal requires materials from that world. I mean, you can even take a look at the 'Eye' armor trim smithing template.

The recipe to duplicate it takes end stone as well. People going to the End from the Overworld should've been an impossible task. Especially for people who would have no knowledge of the End prior to entering. However, this would be entirely possible if it were beings from the End making their way to the Overworld. Then, they'd be able to grant us access by constructing these frames. This paints a very intriguing picture of the history of Minecraft. Also, it's basically confirmed that this happened. lmao

i have a theory about the sculk and wardens, about the sculk being a parasite and the warden being its host-turned-protector. wrote up a little creative thing for it, will turn this into an oc.

grotesque descriptions of rot, decay, bone + flesh mentions, suffering. etc, under the cut

STAGE 1 -

the sculk is inhaled. it begins to spread internally, starting in the lungs and quietly branching out. this stage remains largely undetected, but as the sculk piles up the host will begin to cough up its particles.

at this stage, the sculk can be killed by regularly drinking milk or honey.

STAGE 2 -

the sculk reaches vital internal organs - the brain, stomach, and heart. it permeates through each, beginning the process of rot and reshaping in parts of the body deemed unnecessary to it. the host's vision and movement will gradually decline, feeling as if their body has suddenly become too heavy for their legs to carry them. by this point, the sculk should be noticed.

the sculk can be killed by consuming large amounts of honey, and the body should slowly heal afterwards.

STAGE 3 -

the host's hearing and smell sharpen entirely, and instincts of hunting begin to form. all the while, their eyesight continues to worsen, just blurry colors by the time this stage is through. the host has stopped coughing, but instead their skin has begun to darken and blue. it starts on the fingers and knees, then works outwards. horn-like stalks grow along the shells of the ears.

the sculk may be damaged with the consumption of honey and regular warm baths. if successfully killed, which is rare, the body can somewhat heal but never entirely.

STAGE 4 -

the host loses sight entirely, skin grows over their eyes. the body goes through major changes, some parts even shedding skin to reveal bones. these bones shift and swell, agonizingly changing the host's body structure. the vocal chords begin to shift and swell, as well, preventing them from speaking and instead only producing inhuman, sonic sounds. the host feels an empty, indescribable hunger.

this is the point of no return, when the host can only wait for the inevitable.

STAGE 5 -

the stomach sheds open to reveal the host's ribs and sculk-infected heart. their mind is the last thing to go, and thus the host has become a warden of the deep dark.

I propose that the "Rotten Flesh" item which Zombies drop, actually tastes delicious. Eating rotten flesh makes you HUNGRIER, because its so tasty that you want to eat MORE of it. 'rotten' is just a misnomer, since eating it doesn't actually make you sick

Furthermore, the villagers like to buy it because it's a delicacy to them.

something fun i thought about while farming bonemeal with moss is that minecraft moss is very destructive.

for example this hole was made by growing and harvesting moss. like look at the ammount of stone that the moss is eating thought!!! ^-^

This made the whole creepers are made out of moss theory fit better in my mind like, if the non walking moss can eat through stone why cant the walking kind blow it up?
