so the kids in the thorn family have two moms who both change in appearance depending on mc's, how does that work? are they both biologically related to their kids?

Yeah, the Thorns are biologically related to their kids.

For the Thorns, I can tell you that Olivia is trans. How the children were conceived is up to your interpretation. IVF, naturally, etc. I don't address it directly in the story, only that Sara is the one who carried MC and their brother.

I'll also talk about the Cliffs too since MC has two moms there as well. For the Cliffs, I don't think I ever address how they're related, just that MC looks like them. So, you can come up with whatever fits your MC best. Adoption, donor, etc.

Default is Black) Eye Color: Blue Workplace: The Magnolia Bar and Grill (South Flora Coast) Home: The Magnolia Bar and Grill (South Flora Coast) Wife: Sara Thorn (deceased) Children: MC (potentially), Colin Bio: Olivia is an outsider of Flora Coast who moved there upon marrying her wife, Sara. Her hometown is New Bellmoor, a city located to the north of Flora Coast. She can have one to two children, MC and Colin. Through her marriage to Sara, Olivia now owns and runs the Magnolia Bar and Grill. Upon her wife's passing, she took up the job her wife used to have, now working as the chef.

Olivia can be described as charismatic and responsible. She's reliable and enthusiastic, brimming with energy. She doesn't mind taking time out of her day to help people. She's very receptive and open-minded, but she can also be somewhat intense and patronizing.

She built up the Magnolia Bar and Grill on her own after coming home from the city. She married an outsider to Flora Coast, Olivia. She can potentially have two children, MC and Colin. Sara passed away 3 years earlier due to an illness.

Colin Thorn Gender: Male Age: 8 years old Birthday: January 28 (Aquarius) Status: Life-Long Resident Height: Shorter than MC Skin Color: Dependent Upon MC (default is Light) Hair Color: Auburn Eye Color: Blue Workplace: None (Attends Azalea Library & School House) Home: The Magnolia Bar and Grill (South Flora Coast) Parents: Olivia Thorn (mother), Sara Thorn (mother) Siblings: MC (older sibling, potentially) Bio: Colin is a life-long resident of Flora Coast, even if he's only 8. He was born in Flora Coast to his parents, Olivia and Sara Thorn. He can have one older sibling, in the form of MC. He lives at the Magnolia Bar and Grill with his family, although he attends school most of the times. In his free time, he's usually playing with his friends or playing in the mines, much to Olivia's chagrin.

Colin can be described as friendly and outgoing. He's loyal and is fairly independent. He likes to be helpful and has good practical skills. He connects well with other people. He does have the tendency to be too sensitive or critical of others.
