Duckvember #14: “Monster Duck”

Threnody Letuma McCawber.  I considered drawing one of the plethora of characters available for this description, but ultimately I decided I really wanted to draw my version of Morgana’s (and Ariana’s) mother.  I’d only drawn her one other time, and I still haven’t quite nailed her design.  She looks pretty young here, but I suppose being a vampire would make you ageless.

Duckvember #7: “Your Duck”

Ariana Threnody McCawber.  I created Ariana as a fan character for Darkwing Duck when I was eight or nine.  She started off as Morgana’s outspoken, tough-love-with-a-heat-of-gold younger sister, and she rode a motorcycle and wore a leather jacket.  Since then her personality has morphed more than her design, and currently she’s a sweet outcast who’s found her way to St. Canard and back into her sister’s life.
