yeah I totally get that - for me it's mainly about equality, if that makes sense. It wasn't that the guys I was dating were dudebros or anything (far from it - my last bf was awesome, and we're still good friends), it's just there's usually some obligation to rely on certain gender roles to make the relationship go smoothly and I'm not about that
