Stepping out of the ship was stranger then stepping on. Stepping on was an escape, leaving the Homeworld that had shunned her very existence. Stepping off was stepping onto an entirely new “home”. Somewhere that she could actually... walk around, and not fear punishment. It still made her hesitant though, but when she was greeted by someone so much like her. She stuttered. Rhodonite paused, taking a deep breath that she didn’t need. 

“ U-Um ... thanks ... ” Her voice shuddered and shook as she glanced at the other, watching her for a moment.

“It seems I have displeasure of seeing that horrible fusion again.” The flying gem said disgusted from above Garnet. Aquamarine despised the fusion, it was against all of Homeworld’s laws. That and the blue gem didn’t really understand the concept. She’d only ever seen Topaz fuse.

Blue raised her spear at the fusion.  She trembled, exhausted and scared.

“Halt, rebel...” she mumbled, “This is property of the diamonds.”  Blue scoffed inside her head.  She barely believed in the Diamonds’ cause, but who knew what would happen to her if she gave up her masters to these traitors.

The Sapphire was an unwelcome sight, a reminder of her lack of action that led to Pink’s shattering. Had she not trusted the Sapphire so completely then she might have ended the rebellion there herself, had the Ruby simply obeyed orders then everything would have gone to plan in the first place. They were a monument to everything that had gone wrong on Earth, including her own failures.
