Aquamarine couldn’t imagine why anyone would dare want to stay the hunk of rock but even a narcissist like herself got curious at times(even if she thinks she knows everything).

Lol I got like two hours of sleep last night. I was doing my regular ‘stay up until 1 am’ last night and finally fell asleep for a while only to be woken up by a damn tornado warning like 3 hours later. Nothing but a loud ass storm that knocked out the power happened thank goodness, but I’m seriously missing my sleep >_<
On another note, thanks to the positive feedback on that other post, I’m eventually going to make a Junko blog. When? Who knows. When I do get to making it I’ll link it :p

And this was why Topaz always flew the ship. Aquamarine had gotten herself lost(again). Sure she had maps but she couldn’t make heads or tails of the damn things. Maybe one of the locals of this odd planet could help her?
It’d taken awhile to get permission to even land on the planet from one of its two moons, but the gem had managed somehow. The planet, named “Amyr” she’d heard, seemed to be quite diverse. Though most of the inhabitants reminded her of gems with their varying skin colors.
Aquamarine stood on the ground(for once) cursing under her breath and glaring at her holographic map.

Well, she probably deserved this after what she’d said… But damn, it still hurt. Why did gems always freak out and get mad at her for calling them names? Aquamarine only stated the facts. The ‘facts’ being that she was clearly superior to any other gem, even her Diamond(though she wouldn’t verbally state such a thing).
Normally when the going got tough the little blue gem would just fly out of reach of her opponent(and laugh at them of course). But she hadn’t been fast enough this time and Aquamarine paid heavily for her slowness.
No doubt she was a sight for sore eyes in her current condition. If the young gem looked anything like she felt, she must’ve looked like hell. One hand was held over her gem(for it hurt terribly) and the other hung limply at her side, still clutching her wand.
Aquamarine looked up at the door that lead to Blue Diamond’s control room. Normally she’d just knock or simply enter but she couldn’t seem to do either at the moment. It’d taken most of the blue gem’s strength just to get to the doorstep.
“Um… My Diamond… May I request your presence?” Aquamarine inquired meekly, her childish voice sounding even younger.

The majority of my mutuals I haven’t interacted with because I’m too afraid to approach them XD because they intimidate me somehow or I’m just a ball of fear even though I’m sure they’re all so nice and just as afraid of me as I am of them LOL

I took a break from Tumblr after my graduation and I come back to 297 followers. Damn guys! I’m really honored! This is my most successful blog on Tumblr(hope my art blog will get as popular)!
I’d start writing and shit now but it’s 1 am where I am. Gonna sleep for a bit then write. Just wanted to say how thankful I am for everyone who’s followed. It means a lot!

For Aquamarine’s sake it probably would have been better if she’d formed unable to speak. Goodness knows the trouble her mouth has gotten her into over the course of her existence. She stood quietly contemplating her reason for going here and what Black Diamond had said.
The only reason the blue gem came here was because Blue Diamond told her to. Tell her they think they had the Rose Quartz that shattered Pink Diamond. Why Blue Diamond wanted her to do such a thing was beyond the Era 2 gem. She knew for a fact the Diamond in front of her despised the others. Why would she care?
Nonetheless, Aquamarine reviewed what she’d heard in her head. Was this some kind of test to find defective gems that weren’t loyal to their masters or something? She very badly wanted to say ‘yes’ to have someone to vent her frustrations to. But that one word could also cost her her life.
“Um… p-perhaps…” Aquamarine stuttered, daring to take her chances. Goodness how she hated being scared. A perfect being such as herself shouldn’t be feeling such a disgusting emotion.
Black Pearl entered the bridge on the back of a hulking corrupted gem, looking rather bored until she laid eyes on the small blue gem. “Ooooh, another new pet!” She cooed with glee as she spurred the creature on, charging toward Aquamarine on her corrupted steed.
“A better response than others have given.” The Diamond seemed to ignore her rapidly approaching companion until right before the beast leaped at the blue gem. The corrupted gem slammed into a black wall that hadn’t been there a second ago, the wall being the flat side of the blade of Black Diamond’s massive scythe which now separated Aquamarine from the Pearl, who was now pouting. “Awww, that’s no fair, can’t I just play with her a bit? I won’t scratch her up too much. I’m already bored with this Topaz fusion.” She gestured to the gem she was riding,
Oh no… Oh stars no…
Even from the flash of a second that she saw the corrupted gem before she flinched, she knew it was Topaz. Aquamarine had felt it in her gut but now that Black Pearl confirmed it was her friend only made it worse. Topaz was her only friend, the only one who knew her secrets of wanting power and respect. Now she was gone. The blue gem had never felt so hopeless and alone before.
Aquamarine bit her tongue to both control the tears forming in her eyes and stop the scream in her throat. Why oh why hadn’t she told Topaz to walk with her or stay behind on Homeworld? The blue gem felt responsible for her friend’s pain. After all, corruption was a fate worse than death.
The tiny gem managed to hold her head high somehow and looked back to Black Diamond. “What do you mean by ‘better than most?’” At this point the sadness and grief was turning to rage. For once, the Era 2 gem didn’t care who heard her. She had to speak her mind.
“And maybe you should keep that Pearl of yours on a leash; might hurt someone important.” Aquamarine hissed referring to herself as she crossed her arms.

She’d heard the stories that the other Diamonds had to fuse just to have a fair fight. Even then they couldn’t shatter her. What chance would an Era 2 Aquam-
The blue gem shook the thought out of her head. She was far better than all of the Diamonds combined. Though she’d keep that self fact to herself in the presence of such a powerful gem. Aquamarine decided it would be best to stay silent and act brave until the Diamond addressed her.
The sword-shaped ship of the Diamond had utterly dwarfed the blue gem’s craft as it drew it inside, leading to this meeting on the bridge, the Diamond looking down at the Aquamarine from her command chair. She did not run into gems too often, but when she did she liked to test them, to see if they were worth sparing or if the other Diamonds’ societal conditioning gripped them too tightly.
“What do you want? Not what do you want right now, not what is your mission, not what have the Diamonds told you. What is it that you desire? What scandalous thoughts secretly run through your mind as those above you in status lord their supposed superiority over you? Do you crave power? Respect? To be loved? To be feared?” The Diamond cracked a smile at the last suggestion. The faintest whispers of her sent shivers through gems, weak and strong alike, and she took perverse pleasure in that fact.
“Come now, speak. Or has the lack of resources on Homeworld led to you being grown missing your tongue?”

“Goodness, you were formed on a Kindergarten on this planet, weren’t you?” Aquamarine asked, flying slightly above the other gem. “No respectable Homeworld gem would dare to stay here if they didn’t have too.”
The blue gem smirked, “You’re one of those ‘Crystal Gems’ aren’t you?”
“Yeah, I was made in the Prime Kindergarten.” Black Star answered the blue gem, entirely unaware of who she was. When given another question, the runt Diopside answered with a smile, “yeah, I am! I take it.. you’re new to Earth?”
“You are, are you? I’m so glad to have meet a gem native to Earth!”
With this clueless Diopside, it would be a snap to find the humans Blue Diamond ordered her to find. Perhaps things were finally looking up for Aquamarine.
“What can you tell me about the Earth?” The Era 2 gem asked. Surprisingly, part of her was genuinely curious. She’d introduce herself later, the other Crystal Gems might have told this Diopside about her.

“It’s you!” Aquamarine hissed in delight. “You’re the Rose Quartz that shattered Pink Diamond!” She’d originally been sent to the miserable planet to retrieve mere humans, but this was FAR better. This was the LEADER of the Crystal Gems! Without Rose Quartz, they’d be nothing and this disgusting planet could be erased off the star maps as it should’ve been.
Rose Quartz had quite a delemia on her hands. If this Aquamarine disappeared, or rather failed to report back to the Diamonds, it just proves the rebel activity here. Jasper has gone poof, Peridot cursed at Yellow Diamond, the Ruby Squad disappearing, it was only further proving that some Crystal Gems surived this long.
Rose was no idiot, she knew if the Diamonds decided to blow this place off the face of the universe, the Crystal Gems wouldn’t survive. They weren’t ready to play another way anytime soon.
She knew giving herself up would be a pretty stupid thing to do on her part, so she was stuck at this delemia that neither option seemed the least bit appealing.
“And you’re the Aquamarine that’s going back to Homeworld empty handed.” She hissed at her, taking a defensive stance.
“Oh am I now, Miss Quartz? How do you figure that? Tell me, I’m dying to know.” The blue gem chuckled. How interesting! The Rose Quartz had no options of getting away that Aquamarine saw, and she had looked at this situation from every angle.
“Perhaps you’re to frightened to fight little old me~” Aquamarine smirked. “Or you don’t want to see another gem shattered. I can only guess the horror that was on Pink Diamond’s face when you shattered her. I’m sure that image will be burned into your memory forever!”

Certainly they were both partners and Aquamarine liked not having to do the dirty work alone... But she wasn’t going to let Topaz live this down. The very nerve of the yellow gem to even think about attacking her supervisor...!
