Anyway a friend gave me the Disney duck universe brainworm again

Today we focus on a pairing i never know I'd enjoy

Magica de spell x Gladstone Gander

Before you say anything

I see Gladstone as an asshole who deeply cares and Amelia as a secretly really nice person outside the whole "steal the dime for the magic" shtick

(we aren't using Dt 2017 for this because while i love the show i butchers some stuff and i ain't in the mood for talking about the scrooge clone thing)

(also i keep the fact that Donald can keep his rage in check like in the more serious comics, he has a temper but not for extremely minor stuff)

So as i was saying, i need to say these ideas started thanks to @modmad content my friend passed me

Okay so back on the idea

So for reason x Gladstone and Magica have to go on a long quest for x ingredients (maybe a curse set on the McDuck family that makes impossible for magica to get the dime)

Anyway, they spend so much time together they start feeling all those sappy things but Gladstone is a commitophobe of the worst kind and Magica isn't much better

A detail i wanna add is that since saying your tru name to a witch is something you should never do and Magica comes from a family of witches i'd say magica isn't her real name but the speudonim she uses for everyone and at this point it just became her name

But

During the trip She and Gladstone get in a desperate situation where she is convinced she is gonna die (maybe something like she got injured during a trial or something)

She is getting weaker And weaker and Gladstone luck isn't working rn why isn't it working

And as he tries to keep her alive long enough for help to come

She tells him her true name (I'm going with Amelia because that's how she is called in Italy and how she was called for the longest time to me) because she thinks that's the end for her

And Gladstone watches as her pulse slows down to the point he isn't sure he'll hear a new beat

And that's when his Luck magic is realeased in a giant beam following Gladstone desperation

Because yes Magica used him for his luck but she is clear in her intentions, something basically only Gladstone family ever did

(yes i like supportive Coot cousins!)

The beam restarts her heart long enough for someone to find them

And Magica awakens in a hospital with a very dirty and passed out Gladstone near her bed.

Omg i love this idea so much why i suck at writing fanfiction!!!???
