Thinking about mcga again...
So anyways, in the 1st book of mcga it's stated that Natalie and Maggie boy lived in a cozy apartment above a Korean BBQ restaurant.
This raises a few questions for me.
1) What do u think their home looked like from the inside? Their rooms? Did they bring little trinkets from their hikes? Like pinecones or rocks or something? We know they spent a lot of their time outside than there, so much to the point I think they would've gone and lived in the woods if given the chance. So what would a home look like for ppl like them?
2) How did Natalie blow up the blue wolves? Was she carrying around a grenade or something? Or do u think she used something more of the magic variety? (Wink wink nudge nudge wink. If she did where would she even get it from anyways Randolph b4 she cut off from him? Frey??.)
3) What happened to the restaurant when the apartment blew up? They were directly below, there's no way they didn't take damage. It's not stated what time of day the attack happened, but if it took place during the daytime then that means the place was full of customers. The wolves had to have come thru there first. Magnus said someone had screamed from below and the whole building was shaking. So like??? (I know everyone in there must've chalked it up to the explosion but Ive always wondered what their minds perceived that day)
4) Do u think the smell of Korean BBQ reminds Magnus of his mom and the life he used to have with her? Cuz I do hehehehe😈 I hc that he avoided those restaurants during his time on the streets, if not on purpose then subconsciously. They're a reminder of one of the worst days of his life after all. And the moment he chooses to step inside of one and takes a whiff of the yummy food he'll be hit with all the emotional waves and bittersweetness he's pushed away for so long. (lmaooo. Is there any fics about this out there? About Maggie finally getting to mourn his mom or am I going to have to do it myself? Cuz I will >:)))
5) Also I realized that the restaurant owners might've seen Magnus grow up. Ough :((
I'm sure Maggie and his mom ate there when they didn't feel like home cooked dinner. And maybe they talked to them about their little adventures, or maybe it was just Maggie who did, saying stories of how cool his mom and nature were in the way little kids tend to do.
Like can you imagine watching for years the two of them eat your food and grow up and live on the floor above u looking for all the world like a nice wholesome family? Only for one day to hear the mom got burned to death and her kid was missing and also the biggest suspect? The little boy you met 8 years ago, being suspected of killing his own mom? Bruh that's crazy!! And saddd :((( I want to hug 14 year old Magnus so much man poor baby
