Pretty much all I do in Minecraft these days is build elaborate mining systems and explore seemingly endless caves and ravines; it’s just so relaxing and fun! So I figured my character should reflect that and I made myself a mining skin complete with dirt and a backpack. You know, because I’m sick of just shoving all that cobblestone and iron ore in my pockets!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have important mines to craft! ⛏😄
I got sick to death of having to sift through all of the junk in my many chests around my base so I nearly drove myself insane setting up an automatic sorting system. Between collecting all of the resources to make everything (SO much wood, iron and redstone!) and building it all; it took FOREVER!
There’s a lot of redstone that you can’t see in these pics that took up most of the time that was spent making this hell, but basically all I have to do now is dump my entire inventory one of the two chests I’ve set up inside my house and in my mine, and a minecart will take them down/up to this room and dump them into a crazy elaborate system of hoppers and redstone that sort everything into the appropriate chests. And anything that doesn’t have a chest marked for it to be sorted into gets passed through the whole system and dumped in the overflow chests at the end (the one with the bucket on the front).
I might have nearly rage quit every time the system refused to work for unknown reasons or I broke it myself by being overzealous with my pick axe, but I am SO happy it’s finally finished and works completely! It might have taken a lot of time, but it’s gonna save me so much more in the long run!
