So I just found this in an article about how Linda McCartney was supposedly unhappy and felt “trapped” at times in her marriage to Paul. A close friend of hers had come over to visit once and walked around the McCartney’s farm with Paul and apparently Paul still talked about John as if he was still here. I just found it very interesting that Paul talks about him in a present tense. What are yalls thoughts on this? Do y’all believe that maybe Paul was relieving his memories with John to help with his grieving and heartbreak?

hey! when i started to ship mclennon (about 6 or 5 years ago) i also was doubtful. but after reading so many things about their relationship, i'm pretty sure it happened. well, john literally started to date cynthia bc she dyed her hair blond and john thought that she was looking like brigitte bardot. i think he liked her, BUT, imo, he wouldn't have married her if julian never had happened

yeah, i agree! that was the norm at the time. i guess i’ll always be a bit doubtful about them actually discussing their attraction to each other and being physical, but i am 100% sure that the feelings were there.

thank you for the opinion !! <3 it’s wild how there are so many of us and each seems to have a theory that varies at least slightly from the next one :)
