Book Swap is B-A-C-K!!!
The library in the county south of me, Martin County Library System, had a monthly get together called Book Swap that I was so thrilled with. The library gets ARCs from various publishers because they have a yearly Book Mania event with lots of authors attending.
Sadly the Pandemic put a screeching stop to both the event and the various book clubs and meet-ups. But today, for the first time in a little over 2 years, it is back!!!
Now, don't get me wrong, I love the idea of free books, but the thing that kept me coming back was being able to discuss books with other readers face-to-face.
There were sooooooo many ARCs to put out for the people attending, almost 2 years worth obviously. I picked up Wil Wheaton's Still a Geek, an annotated and updated version of his memoir; The Actual Star by Monica Byrne; Juniper & Thorn by Ava Reid.
I hope to have at least one of them read by the next meeting date, the last Monday of June.
