Still can’t quite believe that the first public image of Obi-Wan’s costume for Revenge of the Sith back in the day got out because Ewan McGregor sent in the above photos to MCN (the magazine he’s reading in the images) as a jokey entry to their ‘send in a photo reading MCN somewhere interesting to win a year’s subscription’ contest! 

Apparently he technically won, though they never managed to actually get in touch with him to give him the prize! 

Ye gods, can you imagine the ton of bricks from the Disney execs if he’d done something similar with the Kenobi show, given the black bin bags situation the actors have to deal with these days?
