I genuinely hate McNamera in Black Friday. He isn’t the silly yet effective maverick that was established in TGWDLM. He’s a plot device. A deus ex McNamera. He saves the day three separate times, coming out of nowhere. Plus, he doesn’t resemble his old self at all. He isn’t silly at all. He’s all serious, all knowing, and exposition.

I've recently had an insatiable desire to learn about the Vietnam war, and last night I stumbled across: The Fog of War ~ Documentary about Sec. of Defense Robert McNamara's Experience. It is an interesting "drive by" cruise through the mind of Robert MacNamara, the controversial Secretary of Defense leading into the war. There's not much to say about him or what is confessed as he shares his perspective, but without a doubt, it is enlightening. Carve out some time and give it a watch:
