I've been feeling boooored out of my mind lately, so what's better than openin' up an ask blog?

NOTHING!!!!

BUT Before you go nuts with the asking, I think it's best I throw down some rules for the weirdos n curious squiddos out there...

ABSOLUTELY NO NSFW. There will be no exceptions. Anything sexually explicit or graphic will be ignored or deleted.

OOC questions can be asked sometimes! But I would suggest going to the owners blog and asking there. Owner will be linked at the end. To help with organization, OOC posts will start with "🧑:"

Please try to stay away from shipping questions!! It gets repetitive and doesn't let me explore Pearl as a singular character as much as I want to

This is a parody, but NOT a roleplay account. I'm not going to answer roleplay asks.

I'm going to try my best to stay as close to canon as possible. Any asks mentioning lore-important things that haven't been confirmed in the Splatoon franchise will not be answered. Possibly SOME exceptions to smaller things.

(Side note: If you followed/knew about a DJ Octavio ask blog that got shut down about a year ago, hi! That was me. The blog was taken down because I was a bit overwhelmed with the asks, and got many of the same questions being against the pinned rules.)

(I don't plan on bringing the Octavio blog back, so I'll be sticking to this one for now. Pearl is my all-time favorite character and she's a huge comfort for me, so I think this'll make me happy to run.)

Beastfolk were nothing strange to Rem - It was actually quite common to see them around, especially within the kingdom of Lugnica. However, she’d never quite seen anyone like this one. Young-looking, small, and... squid-like. Most beastfolk she’d seen have been related to creatures such as wolves, cats, and some other land-based beasts.. but this one? A young squid-girl? Not anything she’d ever seen before.

Coincidentally, she finds this one stargazing on a beautiful night, on the hillside near her manor. She had been aware that someone had trespassed and had gone to see who it was, but... she hardly looked like a threat.

But, like always, she exercises caution, approaching carefully and speaking from afar to catch her attention - she seems pre-occupied, anyways.

“ Pardon me? “ 

Her voice calls out, soft-spoken but not low enough to not be heard.

“ May I ask what you’re doing all the way out here, this time of night? “
