Welcome to the start of the Medley's walk with the Lord. Lets start right from the beginning...
[AN: Pictures have plumbobs in these due to me forgetting about how to turn off headlineeffects. Also, this is entirely sarcastic. I do not condone the beliefs I have made the Medley parents have]
Characters
Miriam Irene Medley
Faithful helpmeet and dutiful housewife, has made the promise to be open to whatever blessings the Lord would give them. Once she was a filthy atheist but she came back to the LORD! To prevent her future children from being corrupted by SATAN'S lies, she will homeschool all her children, and raise them only in the way of the LORD.
Robert Paul Medley
Robert is a man passionate about the LORD and the LORD only. He has dedicated his life to bringing in people from satanic lies, and preventing children from being corrupted. He is a high-up at Paradise University. He aims only to raise all his future children to love the LORD and aim to SERVE him.
Beliefs
Marriage is a man and woman for life. Divorce and Homosexual Marriage are abominations. We will be raising our children as such.
A woman should have as many children to fight for THE LORD, as is told in scripture. Therefore, all firms of birth control, especially the pill and ABORTION are sinful.
"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man;
so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:
they shall not be ashamed,
but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
All children in this family will homeschool be and raised to serve and honour the LORD and nothing else. The public education system is filled with Satanic and Atheist lies. Our children are SERVANTS OF THE LORD. Teenagers were also not created to be sat in a room together for 6 hours a day!
Biblical modesty is essential. Women will only wear skirts and. Pants are ONLY for men and men alone.
A wife should be at home with the children, raising up the next generation of soldiers for the LORD. She should have no career outside the home, especially after she is married and has children as the LORD intended.
We also hold a literal belief in a bible. The earth is only 6000 years old, and that Evolution is a HOAX and Hoax alone.
On the same day we found out I was expecting again, our triplets aged up into children. So far, Noah's a goofball and not much of a student, Omar's just as confident as his older brothers, and Phoebe has a similar defiant spirit as that of Faith. She loves playing in the garden and has little interest in dolls. BABY dolls that is, barbie teaches girl to be SEX GODS. But time will tell with all three of them - their walk with the LORD has only just started in earnest.
Today is Thanksgiving! While it is a SECULAR holiday, we take it as an opportunity to thank our father in heaven, The LORD. As is usual, Bathsheba is ever so helpful and helped prepare dinner. It meant I could fuss our noisy and spirited triplets.
[Thanksgiving wishes underneath the cut]
Bathsheba Inez Medley, (18): I am glad that I live in a godly home with the influence of a good congregation. I am also thankful the LORD has brought me to courting Zachariah, a mature and sensible man who serves the LORD with his heart.
Christopher Asher Medley (18): Praise the LORD that he provides for our family and keeps us healthy and content with our lives.
David Cyrus Medley (17): I am thankful this year that the LORD has blessed our family to be able to spread the word and to follow our forgiving father in heaven to the best of our flawed, sinning abilities.
Elijah Marcus Medley (14 1/2): On this thanksgiving I am thankful that the LORD is forgiving. As I am human, I want to sin and while I am not proud to say I do, I occasionally sin. However, by the blood of Christ and by the LORD's grace we are forgiven.
Faith Joanna Medley (12): I am thankful that the LORD gave me a twin sister. While it is selfish, Grace is an amazing confidant and she's my best friend! When mama is homeschooling us (or more so Sheba), she is also the best study partner. It also teaches me to be humble and to be generous like the LORD desires of his servants.
Grace Margaret Medley (12): While I love the LORD with all my heart... I'm not sure what I'm exactly thankful for this year. I already tell the LORD every single day when I pray and I can't find for the words for it. I'm not sure what the point of this exercise is...
Hosanna Praise Medley (11): This year I'm thankful for the LORD giving me an amazing mother and caring sisters. Sheba is always so helpful and obedient - she's always an example to guide us. Faith and Grace are always mischief which means a lot of arguing, but they always teach me new things about the LORD or about what mama is teaching us! I really love learning!
Immanuel Medley (10 1/2): I am so thankful that the LORD is kind and allows us to hold dominion over the earth like Adam. He also allows our chickens to follow his word and multiply. Mama said it helps me when I clean and see the chickens. I count their number and the eggs and I learn how to spread the gospel!
Jessica Marie Medley (9): As with every year, I thank the LORD for my violin and for the invention of music. I cannot imagine how sad a world without music would be. He also allows that I have a 'natural talent' for it which I think comes from him being annoyed at how much I pray when I struggle with a piece.
Kosmas Daniel Medley (8): Even if sometimes I can't find the words, I am thankful that the LORD is here to guide us.
Levi Alexander Medley (7): I'm grateful for the weather today. It isn't raining which means Sheba can garden and me and Kosmas can play in the garden! I'm also grateful for that we get to be so close with the LORD unlike atheists who reject him.
Oh how I love being pregnant! Unless the LORD gives me another set of lively twins or terrifying triplets, he or she will be the twentieth arrow in our quiver!
I have started another journal, a PRIVATE one. The LORD can still see but I can confide only in him here. I hope you can see that I am trying in a way mother can - I keep my thoughts captive and focus on being a good, godly girl.
Sometimes I wonder whether Bathsheba or any of my sisters-in-law thought about romance or sex. I try to focus on courtship, or on my family if the former isn't part of your plan for me.
We were at church this Sunday, and I noticed Henrietta Banks in a different light. I have always found her to be pretty, though Mother tells me she's lazy and keeps bad company. I am not a bashful person but I suddenly felt my cheeks go all hot.
Elijah told me I looked like a tomato and now I am so confused. Is it normal to blush when admiring your acquaintance? Well perhaps because I was focused on her plump lips and how nice they would feel to kiss.
After, I just threw myself into praying more than I normally do even if sometimes I wonder if you listen. And why would you listen? There are starving children all over, and we're praying for some extra income because mother's pregnant again.
I am so jealous Serena and Sheba can go talk to her so easily. Please, LORD, give me answers and free me of my impure thoughts.
Our 6th boy aged up today into a teenager. He's quieter than the rest of our boys and likes technology. Despite not liking the great outdoors, he is always exercise. I pray that the LORD grants him an easy teenagerhood and when he is ready, a courtship with a beautiful and godly young lady.
I took some time to chaperone David and Genevieve on another 'date' as SECULARISTS would call it. They are closer to marriage, and our home is abuzz and waiting his proposal. We all pray that nothing occurs to change this.
Praise the LORD, I had a good and easy birth on Monday. Our 19th child came into the world. Me and Bobby have decided to name her Salome Bernice Medley. For now, she has not stopped crying, but eventually the LORD will help us pacify her.
No matter what, it is incredibly satisfying to hold a child in my arms after having fulfilled the LORD's purpose for women: to care and birth children.
