For those who don’t feel like watching the whole 20 minute video, the breakdown is that as a prosecutor, Kamala Harris had truancy carry a jail sentence for both parents and kids.

Niko shares how poverty is almost always a factor in kids missing school. I could tell my own story about winding up in a similar court system in South Dakota because my social anxiety was so extreme that I literally felt violently ill whenever I was in school. But that doesn’t matter. Reasons don’t matter to someone like Kamala Harris.
