Elegy [Closed]
Walking through the city's been more dangerous than ever thanks to all the recent...peculiarities that have sprung up recently. That vicious cold snap's aftermath seems to have brought on all sorts of oddness.
This city in itself is strange, and Naegi is heavily reminded of that as he passes by a cafe and absently glances through the window. Past the transparent haze of his own reflection and that of the buildings around him, he sees a starkly familiar figure.
Eyes springing open with shock, Naegi moves without thinking, pushing open the door of the establishment and nearly hitting someone with it. Offering a quick but earnest apology, he edges around the flabbergasted individual and ducks into the cafe proper. Typically he'd stand by longer, but he's in a bit of a rush that's uncharacteristic of him.
And then he's there, looking at her, right as she's finished ringing up someone's order. Naegi clears his throat hesitantly, not sure if she's already noticed him or not. After New Year's, well, he doesn't want a repeat of...
"G-Good afternoon, Maizono-san!" And he smiles, kind of nervously.
