     running her fingers through her hair, arizona leaned against the nurses station with a yawn. she had to go to the lounge and sleep but she had to get something to eat but she also felt like the lounge thing was winning her over, she definitely needed to get away from the ward, that much was for sure. pushing herself up off the desk, she signed off on some last minute paperwork before handing it off to the nurse to head in the direction of the attending’s lounge. as she entered the room, she spotted the brunette of her thoughts already seated on the lounge herself. amelia really had been on her mind a lot lately, they had slept together a few tines, been on a few dates here and there, amongst other things as well as just girl days but they had yet to say what they really were yet, although they had said they liked each other a lot, they just haven’t confirmed it. sliding her lab coat off, she threw it over the table chair and moved to sit down next to amelia on the lounge, leaning up to press a soft kiss to her cheek, she settled back down, placing her head on amelia’s chest “hello my love.”

       losing calliope had meant losing a piece of herself.  years spent with someone were now gone, and she was her daughter.  new york was a hell of a long way from seattle, but it’d been arizona’s choice to give up the child in the first place.  oceanic hues had been glued to the picture to the picture of mark, calliope, and herself holding sofia.  it was crazy how quickly such a beautiful thing could be destroyed.  stray blonde locks fall against her cheek as head turns, the beating at the door causing brows to furrow.  who the hell could possibly be so desperate for her presence ?   ❝  seriously,  ❞    she hummed, eyes rolling as she moved toward the door, pulling it back with a tug, eyes falling on a familiar face.    ❝  can i help you ?  ❞
