Day 2: how do you imagine their first meeting in the myths, marvel /or in the MCU? (fanart, short stories or cosplay ^^)

In 2019 I captured Loki and Sigyn's first encounter in the MCU as part of a photo shoot. Two gods who hide behind a stone pillar to eavesdrop on others.

You Lost the Game!

Well… You can’t win the game if you break a rule, can you? That'd just be– cheating!

Loki makes a deal with the Grandmaster to let him, Sigyn, Thor, Val, and Ari leave Sakaar. Unlucky for him, Thor cheats at his game, which means loki has to be left behind.

this is an for @cosmic0artist's find me series, which is so so good. The latest chapter had me gnawing at the bars of my enclosure (per usual). While we were talking about it, i was very inspired and wrote a little piece of a snippet at some of the ideas the chapter had thrust into my mind, and then they were inspired by that and added onto mine, and then it kept going back and forth until it was long enough we put it in a google doc and it was a Real Thing.

i've never done something like this before but it was so so so much fun and so cool T^T

does loki have a wife in anything marvel?

In the early classic comics he did.

His wife is Sigyn, the one who's also his wife in Norse mythology. Sadly, their relationship in the comics was mostly depicted as abusive and one-sided later on (Sigyn being the loyal and naive wife and Loki acting like an annoyed baby boomer, not to mention the way HOW that marriage started):

Although, later Loki claims that she is the only thing that he truly loves. But that doesn’t change the fact that their relationship mostly isn’t portrayed as sweet or healthy.

Which is the reason why I personally think it would've been interesting to introduce Sigyn in the MCU, since MCU Loki is vastly different from his comic version(s).

MCU Loki would definitely interact differently with her and treat her way way better. This would've been also the chance to write Sigyn better, than just her being a loyal, sexy looking housewife.

But well, thankfully there are fanfic writers :)

So I’ve been wanting to send you this for some time, I’m sorry my art sucks, but I just wanted to tell you that you totally deserve all of your followers! I found your blog not so long ago. The thing is, recently I’ve been in an intense Frostiron phase and you still managed to make me ship Logyn…i didn’t even know who Sigyn was before finding your blog, and I totally fell in love with your design! Believe me, you art has to be pretty good for me to ship something other than Frostiron right now! ;)

When I saw that anon’s message it really pissed me off. I think you art is wonderful and yes, maybe some artists should have more followers but that has nothing to with with how many followers you have! It’s not like it’s your fault or anything.

So this was the most wonderful surprise in my ask box! I’ve been sick and stuck in bed, but when I checked tumblr on my phone and saw this @aquafolie I kid you not I started crying I was so happy!
