Brae kept up on the times, read the news paper - watched the news. Or at least the news was background noise in her apartment. And the newspapers sat around unread at libraries, at stores… or even now as she entered Panera Bread. Anything to distract herself from checking her wrist. Wondering… waiting. 

In the motion of checking her watch, Braelyn catches sight of the timer on her wrist. Her brow furrowed as it counted down faster. Here? Now? Crossing her arms over her chest, she ordered and then took her number and sat. Impossible.

And yet when the ringing began, green eyes widened and looked at the woman before her who’s timer was ringing as well. The redhead was stunned into silence except for two words. “Y-Yes… please…” 

Stephanie gulps, setting down her spoon as the young woman with green eyes responds positively to the suggestion. As she gathers her things to move, STeph sweeps the shop with her eyes. She doesn't feel entirely comfortable with acknowledging their connection out in the open. It was dangerous to her.

Her track clicks against the formica table top as she sits carefully across from the other woman. Her smile is nervous, but friendly. "It's, It's real nice to meet you. I'm Evelyn Grant, most people call me Steph, though." An alias was safer. The thought tastes bitter in her mouth. "What's your name?"

General Appearance: Stark pale like both her parents and she got Sheridan's long, blonde hair. She inherited both their sharp features and is all long and lean by the time she grows into her gangly limbs.

Personality: Smart and quick, she's known about her school for her sarcasm. Between her two mom's she's got an amazing mind, both book and street smart. She skips several grades before she hits middle school.

Special Talents: Is nearly a math genius and loves chess.

Personal Head canon: She gets in trouble at school for wisely conning other kids out of their goods. She even gets briefly suspended for teaching the other sixth graders poker (Brae blames Sheridan for this)
