Things I don’t miss about England:
• They only have Uber and it’s fucking terrible
• “Mexican” food
• Duvets but no top sheet
• THE FUCKING GODDAMN SWITCHES ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. WHY ENGLAND, WHY!?

I’m stressed and on the verge of having a breakdown and the only people I can get to talk to me on tumblr are fuckbois who want nudes 😒
Got tickets to Andrew McMahon on Apr. 23rd in Boston!
Yep, even after 30+ Andrew shows I still turn into a giddy fangirl every time I buy tickets.
Also playing will be a long-time favorite of mine: Allen Stone!
Who will be there?
How British people say “bananas” is a gift to this planet.
I wonder what it’s like to be nurotypical and always pick up on sarcasm.

If you’re ever wondering how dark & apathetic my thoughts are...
I was telling @nico-forgot about a nightmare I had last night and their first reaction was “that would be a great short film, get Lars von Trier on it”
Yikes.
Tru tho. I’d watch that.
For me the 2nd hardest part of being “sober” is the social aspect.
And I don’t mean like “everyone expects you to drink when you go out” or “all my friends do drugs” no, that part was surprisingly easy, all of my friends have been amazingly supportive.
What I mean is: It’s 2am and I’m having a borderline panic attack because I want to go to the mall tomorrow and ask a store for a simple favor and I just can’t deal with the thought of doing it sober. Honestly my first thoughts were “it would be easy (maybe even fun) if I were drunk/high”
I don’t have a clue how to socialize without some kind of substance (Ok, I didn’t know how to with substances…I just didn’t care) even just the thought of basic things like trying to make polite small talk with a stranger or finding a hair stylist makes my stomach churn and my heart race.
It sounds so dumb that I’m afraid that something as basic as going into a shop might be what “breaks” me. That without abusing substances I can’t even ask a question to a stranger. I feel so weak.
Ps: If you were wondering … the hardest part is withdrawal, nearly 9 months in now and I’m still experiencing physical symptoms that are total hell.
Pps: I use the term “sober” for ease of understanding. I do not consider myself sober, I’m just not abusing. So please don’t call me sober…but that’s something I could get into in another post.
