Hi! I was wondering when discord invites are being sent, as I don’t want accidentally miss it. Are the being sent as people sign up, or when sign ups are over? Thanks!

for anyone nervous about giving their emails, i would personally suggest just setting up a new fandom specific email on gmail or whatever, it takes like 5 minutes and your privacy is stays secured! i made one a while ago and it was a great decision because now i can share writing wips from google docs with my fandom friends without worrying about doxxing myself

^^^^ i do this too! we also have an event specific email too lol but it’s super easy and i totally recommend

invites will be sent out from sept 4-10, as per our timeline! no invites have been sent yet :^)

I didn't know time zones were wanted in the sign up; will it still be fine?

Also; I'm really busy in my day to day life (I only signed up to be a support) so it should be fine if it takes a bit to get back to your warrior, right? (A bit = a few hours, not a few days)

timezone is not needed for the signups, sorry for the confusion! timezones will be entered for the wip submission form right before teaming. and as long as you communicate with your group about the pauses and they're alright with it, do whatever!

Hello. Maybe I've missed something but I haven't seen a lot of information regarding art in this event so I hope this wasn't answered before.

From the timeline it seems to be a long-ish term event (for me at least) so I wanted to ask do you need to create multiple drawings, like a comic, or like just one or two pieces that take a while? ( usually I take between 10 to 20 hours because I'm a perfectionist lol)

One more thing, until when can i submit my WIP, and should it be like a sketch (mine usually are really rough) or like just a concept that I want to draw and I haven't gone around to yet.

hi! no problem, these are good questions!

1) it is a long term event, mostly to provide space for people with bigger or more complex projects. if your chosen wip is just a single piece, that’s totally fine! better to have too much time than too little, in my opinion.

2) submissions will be in the form of a concept, even if some of the work has been completed, to try and preserve anonymity as best we can :^)

had one curiousity about the wip purge event - if i wanted to sign up with a multichapter fic, do i have to post everything within the posting period?? or just the first chapter? thanks for hosting this, it will be very helpful!! ^^

first chapter must be up for the posting period, but you can space out updates as you see fit the goal is to have the whole piece finished by posting period so it’s ready to go after :^D
