I’ve been messing with sandpaper and going from like 200 to 400 to 600 to 1000 and maxing out at 1500 lmao. No wonder my shit is not shiny and takes forever.

Hey! So I made an Infinite Life Organizer based on this video by @kickthepj as a Christmas present for my cousin (with a bunch of other stuff but still hahaha)

It was super fun to do (except for the spray adhesive... I don’t want to talk about it, just know that it’s super cool, but it’s sticky af!) I even added velcro to hold the pen to the picture frame!

My freaking cabochons started chipping and shattering on a dull wheel bc I didn’t realize it was dull 💀 I thought my technique or the slab was bad. So then I flipped them over and tried to dome the chipped sides, but the chips were too deep. I gave up on getting a dome and just smoothed and polished slapdashily so I could move onto fresh material.

Ended up freehanding this blue-laced guy from scratch and it turned out pretty nice.

Learning experience day ig
