Hi! I've just started A Bard's Tale and boy! The characters, lore, music/magic concept, ALL OF IT!! its incredible!!! I'm having such a great time with the demo! Im just tired by this point. I woke up to yet another uncalled post with windscream tag and its just. Its so ridiculous ya know?

It is ridiculous, and truly pitiful, as in, I actually feel sorry for these people, because at the end of the day the ones they’re hurting the most are themselves. People who put so much emotional energy into hating other people they don’t know and things they clearly haven’t bothered to try and understand must not have many good things in their lives to invest that energy into instead. They’ve elected to fester at the bottom of a pit of hate instead of using what little time they have to develop themselves into wiser and more compassionate people, and so they’ve ultimately decided not to be truly happy and fulfilled. I’m pretty sure self-actualisation doesn’t involve dreaming up increasingly ridiculous reasons to hate others.

Also, being an anti-shipper is choosing to lose by default, because they seem to be angry so long as a ship exists, and they can’t make it stop existing. If anything, their attempts to harass the shippers only engenders the creation of more ship content out of spite. By contrast, shippers are winning so long as we’re enjoying and creating content for our ships.

I think over 50% involves windscream in one way or another, and I intend to write as much of it as I can. The flourishing of our ship lies entirely in our own hands, and there’s nothing the haters can do about that. What they can do is either choose to continue to fester in pointless hate, or to break free of that toxicity and grow into kinder, smarter, happier and more loving people. Stranger things have happened.

Always been interested in your title structure, what made you choose it? Is there a specific meaning to the parenthesis other than completing the phrase?

I think I kinda enjoy it since it allows for longer sentences while keeping it readable? And I like to read the words in parenthesis as a sort of underlying message or clarification in some of them. Like We Are Criminals and Dreamers - the actual title - and then (Desperate and Dying) because that's what they are. I chose is completely by aesthetic reasons beyond that, heh.

Will you make some side stories with your others db characters? How many chapters have you planned for Mirror?

i dont have any comics planned for my other characters as of right now b/c mirrors and the sequel are so long LOL.  i want to get to tsod eventually so i have to draw the line somewhere

mirrors and facets (the sequel) have 10 chapters each!
