Vulgar Wisdoms (Book Review)
Author: Meaghan Curley
Vulgar Wisdoms
I am not eloquent with my words. They do not flow freely through me and come out in any form that makes much sense outside of my own head.Ā
I do not have the talent that Meaghan Curley shows in her writing in this collection of poems.
Her writing is witty and fresh and does not hold itās punches against this misshapen world.Ā Though itās a quick read, I found myself re-reading it already to catch more of what she left written between the lines.Ā Ā
This author has two other novels which I plan to further explore. I hope they are as freeing as her poems are.
To end, I leave a quote from the author.Ā
āO poetry: how you went from rhyme schemes
To self captions is beyond me
But donāt fret dull, dead friend of English and prose
Youāll still be thought of in some hipsterās Tumblrās postsā
The realĀ āAlphabet Peopleā are not LGBT people, but children of white moms who put as many possible silent letters into a name that only needs to be 5 letters long
Once there were two moons in the sky, but one wandered too close to the sun and cracked from the heat. A thousand thousand dragons poured forth, and drank the fire of the sun. That is why dragons breathe flame. One day the other moon will kiss the sun too, and then it will crack and the dragons will return.

Meaghan: I guess Vegeta couldnāt prove your point, but itās still 100% true in my book!
((Meaghan messing with Vegeta like always lol))
My Gravity Falls Next Generation Part 4
Yesterday was another scorcher and I had trouble writing some. So I broke out my new sketch pad and started drawing. Here we get to see Ran's new friend Meaghan and we also get to meet the woods resident prankster Calvin.
Name: Meaghan
Gender: Female
General Appearance: 5'1" with dark steel grey hair and light grey eyes. She wears her hair in a single braid. Usually she will be found in khaki shorts, a Mystery Shack ? Shirt, and Ran's Hawaiian shirt.
Personality: A genuine sweetheart, though more than a little skidish. She is a little out of her element being around so many people, but she does seem to make friends easily.
Special Talents: Swimming, singing, and sewing.
Personal Head canon: She has been sent to Gravity Falls as part of a 'study abroad program' as Mabel puts it. She has taken to wearing Ran's shirt he 'loaned' her as some sort of lucky charm and is glad to have him as her first new friend.
Name: Calvin (10)
Gender: Male
General Appearance: A long haired, clean shaven gnome with black hair.
Personality: In one word, mischievous.
Special Talents: Getting into trouble, pranks, genuinely being annoying.
Personal Head Canon: Ten years ago Schmebulok dissapeared for two months. Around that time a roving band of Gnomes had been traveling through Gravity Falls (no one has any ideas how they traveled through the weirdness barrier, but they did repeatedly). When he returned he was carrying a newborn baby gnome. Despite male gnomes growing their beards at an early age, Calvin is still beardless.
