Help!

We need help to get food into the house for a few weeks. We plan on trying to get to the food pantry which we can only got to twice a month. We would have gone today, but our area was hit with a blizzard. We are under 20 inches of snow.

Hiiiiiiii, I'm posting this to any and all socials, and honestly don't expect much!

I'm getting top surgery on June 11th (FINALLY), and I'll be out of work for a month, which has me a bit stressed. Bills will get paid, I'm picking up extra bar shifts, and scraping every penny.

My lovely partner will be picking up my usual chores and tasks, on top of their full time job, while I recover. I've set up a meal train so that I can hopefully ease one of the burdens from them while I heal 💖🌈

So Bethany set up a meal train (even though she made a huge deal about not wanting one) and will only accept meals made from her recipes or GCs to Doordash. This comes across as really conceited - I want your help, but only if you do it my way. If I was sent the link to her train, I probably wouldn’t sign up - I’ve been known to buy a frozen meal and salad so they can eat it or choose not to right away.

(There were several minutes of this. I watched the whole thing. It was awful)

Another Month, Another Need

We are needing food. Last month, my EBT benefits were screwed up due to some issues with the online portal. I'm not sure why, but I never got my EBT benefits last month and haven't gotten any this month.

We've gone through everything. We even blew through the pasta which is something I try to keep on hand. I have dietary restrictions that make it difficult for me to get food I can eat. Everyone else is fine. I'm the problem. Nothin new there.

I Need A Break

Moved in but haven't unpacked and have no plans of unpacking. We've had no functioning fridge for the first 2 weeks here so we had to live off of shelf-stable food. It's expensive.

Need Help

We have an issue I have been trying for 2 weeks to fix.

Dave lost my EBT card nearly 2 weeks ago when he went to Walmart. I called the store and was told it wasn't there. Dave went to the store and was told it wasn't there. He traced his steps and it is gone. He even tore apart the van. It is missing.

Here's the kicker. When we moved, I reported my COA immediately. Wouldn't you know that when I went to report my card lost, Public Assistance has still not bothered to put my new address in the system. So I contacted them again. I am still waiting for them to catch up. Meanwhile, we are out of food and no card means that on the 22nd, I can't buy any.

Delaware, you need to get your act together.

If anyone can help a little it would be greatly appreciated.
