“Gift time!” They were selling sweater vests at Able Sisters, and Lee had thought about their cat pal immediately upon seeing one.

“Gift time!” Raymond echos the declaration as quick as he heard it, twirling and then striking a pose with his words. The reaction was instant, as if he had been waiting for something to throw out his little move. 

“Oh!” Surprised, his ears perk up seeing a finely tailored sweater vest being presented to him. “Gift time is for moi? Wow! You didn’t have to do that, Lee. It looks so snug, crisp. I’ll see if it fits!” He takes the gift and swipes it over his head as fast as his paws allows. “I know since i’m wearing it now, it’s the finest thing anyone’s ever seen, but meowsit look, crisp?✨”

K.K. Slider perked his ears up to hear someone asking a question, only to look up to see who it is.

“I’m pretty chill actually. Besides, gives me a bit to play any tunes I like before the performance tonight.”

“What do you mean you’ve never seen a pike? They’re probably some of the biggest fish I’ve ever seen and they’ve got chompers like crazy, nyuk nyuk!” Blue eyes go wide in surprise, the beaver’s mouth agape. CJ couldn’t help but remember the first time he caught a pike, it had been an amazing experience and he was still proud of himself for holding a fish that large. “Well, we gotta find you one! Chat will go wild, nyuk nyuk!”
