from tun's point of view, vice versa is a horror series
everyone’s favorite tag team having a snack
I look up at the others and say jokingly, “so does this mean the cults disbanded?” Also I pat Trico. It’s necessary.
The other egos chuckle. “I think it would be for ze best dear,” Henrik responds. Chase brings out another round of fresh drinks for everyone, and soon enough Jameson joins the rest of the group. They all sit together, finishing the rest of the movie, and one by one, people begin to fall asleep.
By the time the egos wake up, everyone has been taken home, as expected. Chase and Henrik get to it, cleaning up the living room, Jamie and Jackie go back to their room to plan out their next trip. though he didn’t mention it to Laura, Jameson did actually check the forecast for the day. It wasn’t supposed to snow. Though as he looks outside, the blizzard has become heavier, and it seemed to just come out of nowhere. At least they made it back.
In the kitchen, Chase is washing the mugs while Henrik dries and puts them away. “Did Liv tell you what happened?” He asked the doctor. Henrik sighed heavily.
“No, neither of them did,” He turns, glancing up in the direction of Anti’s room. The glitch hasn’t come down once since he came back. “though I can not say I am surprised that they still wish to protect him.”
“Come on, you saw Liv. She looked about ready to tear him limb by limb,” Chase said jokingly, though the smile quickly faded when he realized that was a result of whatever he did. “It’ll be fine. No one was seriously injured. We can talk to him tomorrow. Let him sleep it off.”
Though he hates the idea of waiting, Henrik nods in agreement. They finish in the kitchen and then go their separate ways. As Chase is heading down the hall however, he notices that Marvin’s door is slightly opened, which is strange. Chase is the only person that goes in there, anymore, and he usually uses the door connected to his room. Chase pokes his head in and finds that it’s a mess. The father runs in and looks around.
There’s no sign of a break in, but the larger part of the mess is directed around the closet. Specifically a large metal chest inside with a lock. The lock looks like someone had been trying to pick it with a blade. The person was unsuccessful, which is a relief, but as he looks around more, Chase finds that Marvin’s drawers have been opened and rummaged through. He looks in each of them, trying to find out what is missing. He finally gets to the table next to his bed. the bottom drawer has a few wands in it and some handkerchiefs, but it’s clear by the lack of dust that something has been taken.
Cults, summoning circles, raising the dead. “Anti,” Chase muttered, running his hands desperately through his hair. “What have you done?”
what’s the worst, most useless information my brain decided to hold onto, you ask? (i know you didn’t but i’m telling you anyway)
the birthday of a girl i was friends with for 1 month at the beginning of my freshman year in high school, 1994. she turned out to be absolutely awful and ditched me literally the second anyone else talked to her, but damn if i don’t know that it’s her fucking birthday today. like i saw the date and thought: oh, it’s M*chelle S*to’s birthday today, she is turning 38.
we’re. not even. facebook friends.
"Whew! I don't know about you two, but I could go for some hot chocolate." I start to head out but turn back and smile at them, "Thanks for bringing me along. I'm sorry we didn't get more accomplished, but it was nice spending time with you both."
Jackie begins to change into a warmer set of clothes and offers Laura a snugly hoodie. “No, it’s okay. Sometimes the weather can’t be helped,” The hero reassures her. “but I’m sure Anti and his crew are probably down stairs, and knowing Chase they’ve got some hot cocoa ready for ya,” He leads Laura with him after Jamie takes the belt from her.
Jamie stays in his room, deciding to look over his trinkets for a little, just to make sure they’re all working properly, but he assure them both that he’ll be down soon.
As the two headed down, Jackie paused, Laura looked back hearing him mumble. “Oh no,” He muttered. “What did he do?” Upon further investigation, Laura sees what he’s referring to. Amy is sitting at the end of the coffee table, her leg is propped up and being iced.
Jackie rushed past her and enters into the living room. The other egos smile when he comes in. “Hey dude,” Chase greets. “We uh, had a little accident,” He says gesturing to Amy.
“I’m okay,” She reassures him. “Really though, it’s just a sprain.”
Jackie nods, he leave it be for the moment, sharing a look with Henrik knowing that they’ll find out the whole story later. Laura joins the rest of them in the living room. Chase moves to the floor, leaning back against Schneep’s armchair to open a spot for her.
I smile and take it, "Thank you, Jamie. And thanks for sticking with us nerds too." I chuckle and sip the tea.
Jamie smiles, making a little heart with his hands.
As Jackie starts to approach, Anti and a trail of 5 other “cultists” follow close behind. “To the woods!” Anti yells after tripping at the bottom of the stairs.
“Hang on!” Jackie suddenly calls him. “What are you all doing there?”
Anti just shrugs. “I dunno, culty things. sacrifice someone, maybe raise the dead a little.”
Jackie’s eyes go wide at that last comment. “Oh no no no. Do not mess with the dead Anti!” He demands. Anti rolls his eyes, reminded of Jackie’s little fear of ghosts.
“it’ll be fine. Spirits aren’t even real Jackie.” Anti tells him.
“Yes they are, do you not remember,”
“Sorry, can’t here you,” Liv yells, pushing the glitch to the back door. “We’re going though a tunnel.”
Anti snickers, allowing himself to be moved. Jackie glares at the both. “I’m right here you,” Before he can finish though, The group is already out the door and running into the woods.
Jackie sighs heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Unbelievable.”
