#meanwhileontwitter....like i don't get it. you have every right not to talk about #beingmixed at all. more and more of us are embracing that part of ourselves so you may as well get used to the fact that not all #biracials feel the same way. it's your prerogative if you don't want to talk about it. everyone wants us silenced. monoracial people and now even some #mixedpeople look at you weird if you divulge any information about all sides of yourself. like why you gotta bring that up? why not?? and i just hope she never talks about it bc that's what she truly wants and not because she knows some people will say the exact thing to her if she does. if you can't beat them, join them doesn't help every situation. i wonder if she's been told she's not mixed all her life and so she gave in, gave up and decided to stop fighting it. i think we all may have done that at some time in our lives. but don't silence others because people have silenced you. you also don't have to talk about it to be part of the #mixedcommunity, you can still follow and support other #mixedpeople who are more vocal about it than you are. not being vocal doesn't make you any less mixed than the rest of us. if it's in your blood, it's in your blood. you're every part your mom and dad whether you point it out or not. because also it's no one else's business whether you are mixed or not and that's ok and very true too. but it's also none of your business about what other people choose to do with their identity..... damn was that a rant? well rant over i guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ #mixedgirlproblems #beingmixedisnotacrime #mindyourbusiness #tbt #twitter (at Twitter) https://www.instagram.com/p/CR68jcZFZzJ/?utm_medium=tumblr
