So as I'm writing a meal scene between Mitchel and Veronica I stumble upon a question in my head: what food groups do eggs belong to? Since I really don't like the taste of eggs I don't eat them or use them for anything besides baking.

Onward to Google I went, only to discover that eggs are, in fact, part of the meat family. How strange. Regardless I still don't think I'm going to use the word 'meat' to describe them in my post since Mitchel is also eating a steak.

Oh well.
