For Mecayla's 6th Months we went out on our regular FAMILY TIME THURSDAYS! And daddy decided to surprise us at Chicago Bontanic Gardens.  It was so beautiful there and even the weather.  Not too hot or too cold.  Very very relaxing day even though we walked a lot.  Daddy said we will go there again soon. I can't wait.

Dear Mecayla,

So I know I missed writing to you on your four months and I am so sorry for that. But I didn’t want to miss this month, although I am late. Anyways, at least I am writing to you now while watching our favorite show Ellen. Maybe it’s more my favorite show because you are always sleeping during the time it is on. You enjoy sleeping on your stomach during your nap. I get so nervous when you are at Lola’s and you nap on the bed by yourself since you are slowly turning over. But you are pretty good at waking up and either talk loudly or cry. Its my favorite part of the morning is hearing you talk. You seriously sound like you are trying to say something, I mean you are trying to say something but I wish I knew what I was. You are always smiling in the morning too. You will go to bed by either 9 or 10th and will wake up at either 5 or 6 in the morning. That is when daddy will walk in your room and see you smiling and playing hiding and seek with your blanket. He will carry you into our bed and you will just smile and laugh. I will take you and change your diaper then feed you. Most of the time you will go back to sleep in an hour and I will fall asleep next you on the bed. I will wake to hear you talking and laughing. I just love my mornings with you.

During April I learned a lot about being independent and not always relying on others. I want you to learn that as well. I want to know that you shouldn’t take people’s promises so serious. Not everyone can keep a promise and you will learn that you might not be able to as well. So don’t always get your hopes too high but do reach for your goals and dreams. Don’t let anyone get in the way of what you want to want to do. Because like they say nowadays you only live once so don't let others guide you how to live. It's your life and I want you to be happy. I want you to be safe and I want you to be able to do anything you want.

You are really a funny girl. Anyone will tell you that you are always smiling and laughing. You rarely cry and you love to jump jump jump. I hope you know that once you came into my life that is when my world and my life felt complete. I honestly am grateful that you came into my life. And I am thankful you have such a wonderful good baby. There is nothing in this world I would want but you.

Did I mention that you are doing so well in sleeping in your vr8b? You honestly will sleep for a good 8 hours in your crib, but your daddy and I learned that you sleep well and will go to sleep quickly if you have your blue bear blanket. I’m not sure if any blanket will work but I just play it safe and use the blur blanket lol. Also you are beginning to sit up on your own. You sit without support on your back but you will still lean over on a side or forward. But like your daddy says you do have a monster grip. I thinly you might be stronger than me lol.

Well I hope you know that we love you and that next month you will be baptized. I love you I love you I love you.
